Hello, my dear HIVE friends, Happy and blessed start of the week! I hope you are doing great, that life is smiling at you and that you had a good rest over the weekend. Me, I am very well thanks to God, I rested a lot yesterday, Sunday, and I am recharged with energy to start a good week. On this occasion I want to share with you something I was talking with a friend of mine on Saturday, and that is about books.
No les puedo decir que, siempre me ha gustado leer, porque no ha sido así. Me acuerdo clarito que de pequeña no me llamaban la atención, pero recuerdo que mi primer libro que disfruté fue el principito, desde ahí se me abrió el apetito con los libros. Iba hace años a una biblioteca ara hojear y leer historias y libros que evidentemente no me podía comprar. Al pasar los años, fui leyendo en pdf, wattpad, y cantidad de plataformas que te facilitaban los libros sin necesidad de costearlos, algo gratis y tenías acceso a ellos.
I can't tell you that I have always liked to read, because it hasn't been like that. I remember clearly that when I was a little girl I wasn't interested in them, but I remember that my first book I enjoyed was the little prince, and from then on my appetite for books was whetted. Years ago I would go to a library to browse and read stories and books that I obviously could not afford to buy. As the years went by, I started reading in pdf, wattpad, and a lot of platforms that gave you the books without the need to pay for them, something free and you had access to them.
Pero, dejé de hacerlo cuando fui al oftalmólogo y me dijeron que tenía astigmatismo, algo que según lo que me dijeron, la mayoría de las personas lo llegan a tener, debido a eso, la vista se me cansa, a pesar de tener unos lentes para ello, igual trato de no forzarlos mucho. Tengo varios libros en la casa, me gustan de fantasía, ficción, drama, y algo de psicología, autoanálisis, esos que te llevan a la reflexión inmediata.
But, I stopped doing it when I went to the ophthalmologist and they told me I had astigmatism, something that according to what they told me, most people get it, because of that, my eyes get tired, even though I have some glasses for it, I still try not to force them too much. I have several books at home, I like fantasy, fiction, drama, and some psychology, self-analysis, those that take you to immediate reflection.
Hace poco empecé a leer, el primer libro de los “Juegos del Hambre” ya por supuesto he visto la película una cantidad de veces, pero quería leer el libro para ver qué tal. Una de mis metas este año es poder comprar, aunque sea un libro, quiero nuevamente leer constantemente ya que, no leo como antes lo hacía. A veces, por falta de tiempo, y otras porque quiero libros nuevos jeje.
I recently started reading the first book of the "Hunger Games" and of course I have already seen the movie a number of times, but I wanted to read the book to see what it was like. One of my goals this year is to be able to buy even one book, I want to read constantly again since I don't read as much as I used to. Sometimes, because of lack of time, and sometimes because I want new books hehe.
Me topé con una página en Instagram que venden libros, son de Táchira, y de verdad que son a muy bajo costo, comparados con los de aquí que, no bajan de 25$. Espero poder concluir con la compran porque la mandan por Amazon, igual si todo sale bien, pues les paso el dato más adelante para los que estén interesados.
I came across a page on Instagram that sells books, they are from Táchira, and they are really low cost, compared to those here that do not go below 25$. I hope to be able to conclude with the purchase because they send it through Amazon, but if everything goes well, I'll pass on the information later for those who are interested.
La lectura en general, te lleva a mundo distintos, diversos y paralelos. Te hace soñar, crear, imaginar, y visualizar cosas o momentos que son netamente ficción. Te identificas con los personajes jaja y creo que a más de uno le ha pasado, que se frustra o llora por algún evento que sucede en la trama, es normal, y eso me encanta, porque, aunque eso lo vivimos con las películas, no es tan profundo. Los libros te dan cada detalle para que tu imaginación vuele y se expanda a lugares inimaginables. ¡Que vivan los libros, las lecturas, los dramas, y poemas, que nos envuelven y nos hacen ver e imaginar, lo que no podemos ni creer! Y que, vivan los soñadores despiertos, como yo, jeje.
Reading in general, takes you to different, diverse and parallel worlds. It makes you dream, create, imagine, and visualize things or moments that are purely fiction. You identify with the characters haha and I think it has happened to more than one of you, that you get frustrated or cry because of some event that happens in the plot, it is normal, and I love that, because, although we live that with movies, it is not so deep. Books give you every detail so that your imagination flies and expands to unimaginable places. Long live books, readings, dramas, and poems that envelop us and make us see and imagine what we can't even believe! And long live the daydreamers, like me, hehe.

Al igual que tú llegue tarde a la lectura, aunque no creo que jamás se llegue demasiado tarde a la lectura o algun determinado libro, siempre llegamos en el momento perfecto.
Si algo me han enseñado los libros 📚 es saber que la lectura es un placer del espíritu. En Venezuela son un poco costosos algunos libros, o por lo menos las ediciones más recientes.
Tengo una enorme lista de libros por comprar y los precios no son demasiados esperanzadores jejeje
Oye, cuál es esa cuenta de Instagram que venden libros? Esa es una información que me interesa... (De hecho he pensado comenzar algún negocio relacionado con los libros).

Saludos @julimarquez que grato leerte, es genuino tu testimonio en el encuentro con los libros. Uff sobre todo eso que relatas de de que tu primer libro inspirador fue el principito es una hermosa historia, aunque no lo creamos por allí hay gente que aun no conoce este hermoso cuento y deseo que cada día más persona lo conozcan para que se inspiren a leer lo que les plazca.
Pienso que nunca es tarde para lectura, siempre se aprende y disfruta.
