Hello adventurous friends, we are passing through this beautiful community to leave you with a new adventure! Today I climbed more than 400 meters in a set of mountains to be able to enjoy the best landscapes of Portugal, this place is called: "Chã da Anixa" which is famous because the Romans lived there for a few hundred years and in fact the drone camera passes through some of them, I hope you enjoy the biodiversity that a Mediterranean landscape presents.🧭🏕️🌷

A different walk🌎🚩 /Una caminata diferente⛰️🚵🏻♀️

One of the longest and most difficult trails to complete due to the terrain conditions and even more so since we are on some rainy days, the "Chã da Anixa" trail, as I named it because it does not officially exist, is one of the most beautiful I have done so far and is an extension of the "posto vigia" which is famous in the area because it has very steep climbs that are physically demanding and are used for endurance training.🌷🌎🌻

My drone footage from a few meters above the ground reveals how my hike in the mountains was and how I had to walk through very dense forests visited by very few people as they are quite hidden! Normally, the average tourist doesn't go into places that aren't signposted to avoid getting lost, but as a veteran who knows me, it will always be exciting for me to record these paths!🌎🚩

I only saw bicycle tracks, so the path was probably created by cycling enthusiasts, but I don't think the practice is allowed because this is a protected area, so it is something that is done hidden from the rest. I didn't see a single person in 4 hours of walking from the village to here! It was only at the top that I saw people, how do I know which paths to follow? I don't know... I'm just looking at the map so I know which way to go.🚩🌎🧭
A compass from the top🌎🚩 /Una brujula desde lo mas alto⛰️🚵🏻♀️

Sense of orientation with the drone🧭🚩
I want to tell you that getting lost in Portugal is almost impossible. I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but the chances are very low because there is coverage almost everywhere. The country is small, so I don't want to boast that I'm doing something unique, but the drone helped me a lot to follow the path! I didn't use these big paths, as you can see in the video, it was one in the middle of the forest.🧭📸

It looks like a landscape on Mars🌎🚩 /Parece un paisaje de marte⛰️🚵🏻♀️

Suddenly I came to this open site that was surrounded by these hills of very strange stones, which I named Mars hehe! I have no idea what kind of stone it is, or if this was a mining area that was common around here in the eighties.🚩📸

On top of the mountain🌎🚩 /En la cima de la montana⛰️🚵🏻♀️

As my wife says: "your moment of meditation", she knows the great significance that nature and these activities have for my health, every time I enter these landscapes my mind clears and I can't think of anything else... My mind becomes cloudy and I just look... How many of us just look??? It is our nature to always judge or analyze something... That doesn't happen here...🚩🌎

In descent🌎🚩 /En descenso⛰️🚵🏻♀️

I made some detours so as not to have to go directly to Setubal and instead I'm going to go around the mountain to finish the walk and my adventure in the village "qta anjo", in total I walked more than 22km today and I'm having fun like never before.🌎🚩

This 'red sand' is called Saibro here in Brazil. It used to be very common to use this type of material mixed with cement to build houses in the past. I’m not sure if it's still used, but I believe it’s not.
haa! then I had my doubt right, I mean it was possibly for mining or extracting it as a resource. Hey thanks for the info hehe I'm inexperienced in rock matters.
Wow. Wonderful :)
