Hello fellow Hiveans!
I took a walk down to the river on a peaceful and still evening.
Although this spot is right next to the O2 Arena, it is away from the tourist crowds and hustle and bustle. Looking back to the post when I was last here, the area around it is still essentially a construction site with works around the Blackwall Tunnel so where I took off from was very quiet!
The lingering fog over the Isle Of Dogs added some extra mood.
As mentioned, I have flown from here in the past but every visit is different. This time, when I panned around from the wharf to get a view towards the city, I was surprised by a laser in the sky! Upon reading about it when I returned home, turns out the meridian line is marked by this laser at night. Not even sure how long it has been a thing.
