The Park & The Palace.

in Drone3 months ago

Hey everyone,

Back with another bucket list location of mine. This time I visited Alexandra Palace dubbed 'The Peoples Palace', in north London.

From features such as the huge central atrium (and the window) to the small arches along the front and so many other intricate details, this is one of the most highly significant, historic and recognisable buildings in the city. It is situated at the top of a small hill and the panoramic views of central London from the top are amazing.

The park surrounding it hosts an adventure park, boating lake, ornate gardens and several cricket and football fields.

On this occasion I had just about missed the sunset however, the cloud formations at blue hour really helped enhance the edits.

The land is privately owned by a trust but the local council are fortunately drone friendly so I took off from a nearby street and flew over whilst walking under the drone to keep line of sight.

I can't wait to go back again.

Take care everyone!
