Hi fellow Hiveans, I hope you have all been well.
I took a little break to Cornwall, south of the country.
One place I visited was the beautiful town of St Ives, built on and around a unique spit of land.
This view is from the north of the town, I took off from the green area in the middle of the image, known as 'The Island' but it is 100% attached to the mainland. The town has three beaches, each are very wide and sandy when the tide is out.
Ground shot from my take off location looking west towards Porthmeor beach.
Birds eye view of the coast watch building and a cafe to the east.
Another view looking west towards Porthmeor beach.
A view of St Nicholas Chapel looking north.
A birds eye view of the main harbour in the town.
I really like all the ropes holding the boats in place and the imprint patterns in the sand created by boats that had previously rested there.
This panorama was created from nine images at multiple exposures.
Shots of the harbour and the restaurants overlooking it.
Light house on the harbour wall.
The take off location for the next few shots was Portminster beach found to the south of the town, seen to the left of the image below.
This panorama shot along the harbour wall is a little distorted but shows the topography of the town. The arrangement of houses is very similar to towns on the Cinque Terra!
I will definitely fly in the area again whenever I get the chance. Not only is the location amazing, the food is great and the water really is this blue and clear as seen in this series on shots.
Take care until the next time!

Beautiful! It looks like a very active cruising area. Good luck with the contest.
Great report @bombaycrypto
I like the variety of points of view.
Just a question, do you need some permission in order to fly there?
Thanks for your comment. There are no flight restriction zones in the area. Further south towards Lands End, ATC request a form to be filled out, they are very friendly!
Thanks to you for your response. I just wanted to compare haw easy is flying out of my country, Spain. Here the whole coastline is a restricted area, a completely nonsense rule.
