It’s not every day you get to do so thing really useful with the drone but today was one of those days.
Last year flying around the church yard opposite my friends house in Defford we noticed the back of the on the 500 year old clock tower was looking a bit worse for wear. It’s not somewhere you would normally get to see at all so the drone really came in handy.
So with my usual trip up for a New Year glass of wine it was time to get another look and see how the repair had gone.
Nice to see it had all been fixed and time to have another look at the rest of the roof to see if any damage had been caused by the winter storms.
Fortunately everything is still holding up.
One big positive is how well the DJI Mini 3 Pro performs in blustery conditions, even with the gusting wind the photos were clear and sharp.
