Planning to get it for my travels too, just not sure when, haha! I'm curious though, do you need some sort of documents before flying it? I know you need approval in urban locations but what about the outdoors ones?

I wanted a drone for ages so waited until it was on sale. No documents to fly it. I just practice flying in a field to get used to it. It's alot of fun.
Birds do like to attack the drone, so one thing I have learnt is to put the drone into sports mode and shoot it straight up so the birds won't notice it so soon. Then switch it to which ever flying mode you like.
Most likely I'll wait to be on sale too, lol! Thank you for the explanation and advices. Really appreciate it! ☺️
