Finally, after spending two days here, we are ready to leave. We had been hoping to do some hiking, but unfortunately, the weather didn’t permit. If you look at the bottom, you can see that our bay was still covered in ice—it was completely blocked at one point. However, that wasn’t a problem for long, as the sun worked quickly to melt it away, clearing our path.
We are slowly making our way back to Maple Bay, as at the start of March, our captain will be leaving the boat for ten days.
We only get this type of weather after rain. It was truly unexpected, as we had been anticipating rain for an entire week. However, we got lucky and had the chance to witness this beautiful sight. . .
