RE: Drone Photography of the Homestead Farm and Learning Flight Limits

I agree on your comments on DJI goggles. While it does provide an immersive experience, you almost need to be sitting down or at least leaning on something solid to not lose balance.

What I found really nice is the Epson Moverio glasses. I did a short review on them here

Wow, I can't believe this was over 4 years ago! I'm sure the technology is even better now. While they plugged right into the HMDI port of the controller, I did find myself wishing they were wireless. Maybe something to look into if you would like to have the glasses view, but not lose the peripheral vision. While they had different levels of tint for the glasses (or clear for flying at night), I found that I most often flew in the bright daylight and preferred to just put black tape over the lenses.

I haven't had these out in a long time. Thanks for the reminder!

I will have to check those out. I found my old iPhone 6S Plus which is a good sized screen. I 3D printed a sun hood for it this morning that is going to help a ton. Just need to go to the store to get some double sided velcro to keep from sliding off.
