Went for a Wednesday Walk in the sky. Took the drone out for a flight over nearby pond. Of course had to catch a few pics of the trees and hills. The tops of the trees are just starting to bud out a bit.
The new flight control center chairs. Skywalking in comfort!
While flying over the pond, I spotted this movement, I zoomed in and got this great shot of the duck flapping it's wings. Well, great for me anyway, it was pretty cool to be a half-mile away and be able to get that shot. I also spotted a beaver or otter sliding into the water later and could actually watch it swimming, but fumble fingered on the record button. Still amazed at this zoom power on the Mavic 3.

The drone sure gives you such a cool p[perspective love all the images and I think the duck flapping its wings is pretty cool
Seeing these temps me to get a drone, not that I could afford a Mavic 3 at this stage, at times I have bene tempted to get a Mini 3 which I have enough to get now, but debate if I would use it enough or should keep saving for my next lens
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
Highly recommended. The perspectives you're able to get are just not attainable from a land camera. The Mavic 3 is great if you're into the mad zooming like I am. Other than that, the camera is not much different than the Mavic 2 Pro. The Mini's are solid too. My son-in-law has one and their small size is incredible for just tossing into a pocket. The good thing is they also hold their value pretty well (if you don't crash them, lol). So just like with land cameras, it's easy to start small and then grow later. This is my third upgrade, I got about 75% value back on the others after a year or two of use.
Thanks for the info
I am still bouncing it around in my head maybe a mini is the one for me at this stage if I decide to get a drone
Great set of drone shots.

Nice views what’s the height you were flying
Started at just under (of course) the 400ft legal limit here in the U.S. The lower level once I zoomed out and flew in closer to the pond edge at the end was about 250 I think. We've got some tall trees out here!
Your limits seem similar to the uk ours are 120m
Nice views and drone shot...
