Same !INDEED, and most of the time I'm learning different things at the same time. Smaller things (yes, you should continue breathing while being baffled by some posts on X) and bigger things (like new techniques for data analysis or programming languages). Just love it! ;-)

That's how I've learned all my life, many things at the same time! Haha...I spend a fair bit of time on X, since it's seriously one of the best sources for valid news and keeping track of what's actually happening in the world. I really do want to start learning some coding languages...especially now. That's awesome, @borniet, and I share your enthusiasm! πππβ¨π€

True, the value of being able to code, especially different languages, is incredible! And an absolute recommendation!
As for X, I donβt use it that much, but Nathalie is my X-source for news! And she !INDEED also uses it for news, as, as you mentioned, it is one of, if not the only one, few good sources for news!

!INDEED and Hive needs a lot more coders to be sure! What languge to start would be your recommendation? Hahaha...that's awesome that your wife is the news seeker on X! It's kind of crazy, it went from being one of the most-censored mainstream platform to the least, and you're right about it being basically the best source for real news in the world now, aside from various alternative platforms. Bastyon and Qortal are also good sources or information. πππβ¨π€

Iβd go for C or PHP actually. Python is easy to learn, but perhaps just a tad too easy, which makes it allowing for bad practices. Same for JavaScript. With the added disadvantage in JS that there are so many different frameworks that create dialects of JS that if you work in that one framework, you canβt even use the base language anymore (more or less).
So in that sense, C or PHP. Basic and rather strict (or very strict in the case of C).
And if not one of those: Iβd go for python.

And more coders would be welcome for sure! But we need to keep accessibility of the platform in mind as well. So that non-coders or techie people still feel at home.
