Today I got this picture in my gallery, and the truth is that I was filled with nostalgia because it belongs to the time when we shared a lot of time with my cousin Alejandro, who is like our brother and is currently living in Madrid for work. In that picture (the only one I have from that day because I had no cell phone or cameras) we were happy because we were at the party of one of our cousins, it was a children's party but the whole family was together as well as some friends. The children's party ended early, around five in the afternoon, but the adults (and teenagers like my cousin and me) stayed for a long time more at the party, enjoying quality time together, talking, dancing and in the case of my sister, my cousin and I, planning what we would do the next day, since we wanted to go to El Peñón hill, which can be seen from anywhere in that town, Montalbán. Those were really good times and I am glad to keep at least a little piece of that day that I will always carry in my heart.
Hoy conseguí esta foto en mi galería, y la verdad es que me llené de mucha nostalgia porque pertenece a la época en la que compartíamos muchísimo tiempo con mi primo Alejandro, quien es como nuestro hermano y que actualmente está viviendo en Madrid por cuestiones de trabajo. En esa foto (la única que conservo de ese día porque yo no tenía celular ni cámaras) estábamos felices porque estábamos en la fiesta de una de nuestras primas, era una fiesta infantil pero estaba toda la familia reunida además de algunas amistades. La fiesta de los niños terminó temprano, como a las cinco de la tarde, pero los adultos (y adolescentes como mi primo y yo) permanecimos por mucho tiempo más en la fiesta, disfrutando de tiempo de calidad juntos, conversando, bailando y en el caso de mi hermana, mi primo y yo, planeando lo que haríamos al día siguiente, ya que queríamos ir al cerro El Peñón, que se puede ver desde cualquier lugar de ese pueblo, Montalbán. De verdad fueron muy buenos tiempos y me alegro de conservar al menos un trocito de ese día que siempre llevaré en mi corazón.
