The plane crash in DC is absolutely devastating and senseless. Poor people :(
Seeing your pictures reminded me of the only time I visited Washintong DC. I was 24 years old! It was the first trip I paid for myself and I went with a couple of friends to NY. I remember we rented a car to go to Washington, I drove. Somewhere at my mother's house in a box there must be pictures of that trip and I remember having some in front of the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.
Nice memories, too bad they came because of such a sad incident.
That must have been quite an adventure, and driving in a foreign country, I'd panic so much I think.
