Today I want to open the doors of my memory album and take you on a journey through the images that have captured the most significant and endearing moments of my life in the beautiful town of Choroní, in the Aragua state of Venezuela. These photographs, which are as everyday as they are meaningful to me, are a reflection of the magic that surrounds every corner of this place that I consider my second home.

Choroní, with its indescribable charm, is much more than a tourist destination; It is a sanctuary of peace and serenity, an oasis where time seems to stop to allow us to savor each moment with calm and gratitude. Every time I close my eyes, I can feel the sea breeze caressing my face, hear the comforting murmur of the river and perceive the intoxicating aroma of nature that permeates everything.

I miss the cobblestone streets that wind between the mountains, silent witnesses to centuries of history and tradition. The ancient adobe walls, with their peculiar and mysterious textures, seem to whisper secrets that only those willing to listen with their hearts can understand. On every corner, in every alley, there is a story waiting to be told, a memory waiting to be revived.

But what I miss most about Choroní are not only its landscapes, but also the warmth and hospitality of its people. The locals, with their genuine smiles and welcoming spirit, make every visit feel like coming home. It doesn't matter if you are an occasional visitor or a lifelong friend, at Choroní you will always be welcomed with open arms and a heart full of joy.

And how can we forget Holy Week, a celebration that brings with it a unique atmosphere of spirituality and devotion. I fondly remember the last time I was there during this holiday, passing out coconut rice prepared by my mother to friends and neighbors, sharing laughter and conversation as we immersed ourselves in the spirit of the season. The blessing of the sea by the father, the sound of the church bell echoing in the air and the atmosphere of peace that enveloped each moment, are memories that I treasure deep in my heart.

Looking at these photographs, I realize how much I miss the magic of Choroní, the feeling of being connected to nature and myself on a deeper level. Each image is a reminder of the happy moments, the lessons learned and the friendships forged in this unique place in the world. So today, through these photographs, I want to share with you a little piece of the magic of Choroní, invite you to immerse yourself in its beauty and charm, and to experience the same feeling of awe and admiration that I feel every time I set foot on its sacred lands... Because even though I am physically far away, I know that Choroní will always be present in my heart, like a lighthouse that guides my steps and reminds me of the beauty and greatness of the world around us.

May these images inspire you to look for the magic in your own life and appreciate every moment as if it were a work of art!
Hello friend, what a beautiful experience you shared with us and it is fascinating how you describe every detail and aspect of that place, which allows us to create a great connection. In my case I have never visited that place and without a doubt it is evident that it is very well preserved and perfect for having a great time. Furthermore, it is incredible that you enjoyed it and I hope that it is a great experience that can be repeated.
Hi, thank you so much for participating in #tbt Thursdays. Your post is wonderful, it is full of images and anecdotes that you share from the heart. In my case, I once went to Choroní in my childhood, it was for musical reasons, but wow I can practically say that I don't know the place, because the memories are very vague, I hope to do it someday, but go with the right people, who can stand the road hahaha. Thanks for posting in the community, happy day! 🙏
Choroní es un lugar hermoso, lastima que me da tanto miedo esa carretera 😅😅
