A return to Dali's artistic world

in Throwback Thursday2 months ago

A few days ago I passed by the National Museum in Belgrade, so we started a story about the museums we visited.
I remembered then that I didn't fully share with you everything I saw in the Dali Museum in Figueres.
I'm not sure if this is adequate for the #TBT community, but since it's Thursday and I'm sharing these pictures to remember that trip when I was at the Dali Museum in Figueres, why not 🙂

I thought I would include in one post the photos I took of his installations and the space in which he lived, but it would be too long a photo post, and it would probably be too extensive.
All installations and sculptures. as well as his living space deserve a different title.

So now in this post, in which I remember visiting the museum and enjoying art, which may not have made me a better person, but it certainly fed me with some information and memories, I will share photos of some of his works, as well as the works of some other artists found in the galleries of his museum.

The cover picture is a self-portrait in which he also painted his wife, Gala, and they were painted from the back. a strange picture, as is his entire oeuvre.
There are also various graphics, portraits, fantasies, metaphors... Something for everyone.

Dali painted nudes with stones, details of Don Quixote, Napoleon, horsemen...

I'm uploading pictures now, and if you find any particularly interesting, ask me, it will be my pleasure to share with you some more information I have about that piece.

Going back now through the photo gallery of his paintings, I realize the extent of Dalí's love for Gala, whose figure is a frequent motif in his paintings.

Everywhere you look, from some of his paintings, Gala will be looking at you, serious, naked, or she will turn her back on you.
In every painting, the details he paints are fantastic, whether it's sketches or oil on canvas.

You will notice, in the pictures, more of his signatures, which was his obsession, to invent and constantly sign different signatures.

I hope it meant for you to look at the photos I took then.
and I take the opportunity to permanently store all these photos taken with my mobile phone on BC so that I can have them whenever I want to look at them and remind me of my stay in Figueres.
