As I checked the saved pictures, I came across these pictures and I remembered that it was taken on the Trancentral highway in Lahug, Cebu City.
It never crossed my mind that I was able to pass this area for the reason that I think no public jeepney would travel here, which means privately owned vehicles were commonly passed through these places.
But when I started my post-graduate studies my husband was my classmate again, and at that time, my husband owned a motorcycle, so when the class ended early, we decided to go back home and we used the route where we passed the Trancentral highway.
The first time we traveled here, I felt mixed emotions. I felt excited since it was my first time traveling in the area but when I saw how dangerous the place was, I felt scared and hoped that we would finish passing the area. This was what I felt every time we passed this place since we used this route not only once but I think more than three times as far as I remember.
This picture was taken last 2019. It was during the Sinulog Fiesta in Cebu City that we only lit a candle in the church and went back home since my husband was not confident about leaving the motorcycle in a parking space in Cebu City.
We had a joyride on the Trancentral Highway. It was a very memorable experience.
Now, I think we passed the area once using the minivan because I was not confident about using the route when the minivan was used because the area was prone to accidents and the minivan that we used was not brand new, so, when deciding to use the route, the minivan must be in good condition.
