Throw Back Thursday. Memories Of My Kids Cultural and Christmas Carol

This is my first throwback post for the year, and I am so happy to be with you today.

For my project today, I will be taking down the memory lane of how the cultural and Christmas Carol all went in my children's school. Usually at the end of the first term, my kids school organizes a party to crown the end of the year, which goes in line with the cultural day celebration.

My kids were done with their schoolwork two weeks before the party, so on a daily basis they remind me of their Christmas party that made all of us graciously anticipate the D-Day. On that said day, every child was encouraged to put on their best, and those involved in one presentation or the other were required to put on the desired attire for such presentation.

My kids have this phobia of these cartoon characters and some drawings, so they weren't included in such presentations. The three main tribes we have in my country, which are the Yorubas, Hausas, and Igbos, came and welcomed the guests.

From there it was all dance, dance, and dance as some tribes were selected to present some dance from the culture, and it was so interesting as we didn't feel as if it should come to an end. The place was thrown off balance when some cartoon characters made their way to the stage.

My kids began crying, and I was somehow embarrassed; some other kids went to embrace the characters, and my kids were just busy crying. Imagine that!! While this was going on, some parents went ahead to taste the cultural food that was prepared by the school, which added some more colors to the event.

Immediately after that, we all went over to receive the results of the children, and that made my day so much better. Now, my kids did so well last term, and I was so excited with their performance that I went to the market to buy them recorders, one for each of them.

Thank you so much for following my story today. See you next time for another exciting story.
