Hello there, my lovely Hivers! I want to share moments we had with my Grade 12 classmates.
We needed to get a police clearance for our immersion. At first, we planned to get it in Bogo, City since it’s just near our hometown. But they ran out of papers to fill out, so we decided to go to Sogod, Cebu, instead.
The bus fair was the same at the bogo and I was excited because it was my first time going there.
The Trip
We all met at school and then went to a classmate’s house to wait for the bus because it was near the highway.
The view going to sogod, cebu was pretty good! The view was amazing, with big trees everywhere. And i was so happy because i got to sit in the front seat.
At the Municipal Hall
When we got to the Sogod Municipal Hall, I was surprised at how big and clean it was. Some of our classmates were already there and the line was long.
It was around 1 PM when we got to the municipality so we quickly filled out the online form for the easier process.
But we had a little problem with our Gmail account wouldn’t open because we forgot the password. We started to panic, but luckily, I was able to fix it.
When it was finally my turn, I went to the office to have my picture taken. There was a student from another school who was also doing their immersion requirements.
The person that is incharge of taking a picture for the police clearance, told me my name was unique and even joked that if he had a daughter, he would name her Ishbel. Hearing that made me so happy.
Helping Out and Eating Snacks
After I was done, I helped one of my classmates because they were having trouble with their Google account.
We also eat mangoes for snacks. One of my classmates had to call her sister to ask for their parents’ birthdates because he didn’t know.
Later that , we all got hungry, so we bought siomai from a nearby store. It was so yummy.
Exploring the Place
After eating, we explored the municipal hall. They had an aquarium and you can really see the fish and some pretty plants. The place looked so nice and clean!
We took selfies and group photos while waiting for our classmates to finish.
To pass the time, we talked and laughed. I wanted to take a photo on a bench, but it was blocked with plastic.
My classmate took a photo of me sitting near a pole with a nice view behind me.
The rocks that were placed into these plants were also so pretty. They looked like decorations and made the place feel even more peaceful.
Exploring Sogod
When everyone was done, we decided to explore Sogod since it was our first time there. We walked to the market, which was just walking distance.
I loved hanging out with my classmates, seeing a new place, and making memories.
I will just share more about what happened during our stroll in Sogod in my next blog.
That's all for today's blog my lovely hivers!!
I visited sogod 5 times and all I can say is that, that place is worth to visit💗 one that I highlight in visiting sogod is their kakanins and Torta
