Celebrating Victories
Seven years ago I was still a university student, which was struggling against a thousand adversities to achieve the desired goal of graduating from one of the most important universities in the country, by then many of my classmates had already completed their studies and little by little I was enjoying their graduation ceremonies, these were moments full of joy, where the satisfaction of a goal achieved was cause for deep celebration, but at the same time they were the necessary impetus to move forward and conquer my own dreams.

Celebrando Victorias
Hace 7 años yo aún era un estudiante universitario, el cual estaba luchando contra mil adversidades para alcanzar la anhelada meta de egresar de una de las universidades más importantes del país, para ese entonces muchos de mis compañeros ya habían culminado sus estudios y poco a poco yo iba disfrutando de sus actos de grado, se trataba de momentos llenos de alegría, en donde la satisfacción de un objetivo logrado era motivo de profunda celebración, pero al mismo tiempo eran el impulso necesario para seguir adelante y conquistar mis propios sueños.
For the month of June 2017, without me knowing it, I participated as a spectator in the last graduation ceremony of known people, since for the following year, on that same date, I would be the protagonist. On that occasion two of my closest friends and a cousin would be celebrating their academic degree and for the occasion an impromptu reunion was generated where I was the only one missing to reach that great achievement.
Para el mes de junio del año 2017, sin yo saberlo, participé como espectador en el último acto de grado de personas conocidas, ya que para el año siguiente, en esa misma fecha, yo sería el protagonista. En esa ocasión dos de mis amigos más cercanos y un primo estarían celebrando su título académico y para la ocasión se generó un reencuentro improvisado en donde yo era el único que faltaba por alcanzar ese gran logro.
I remember that day as if it were yesterday, there was a lot of joy around us, everyone was wearing nice combinations and had a sincere smile on their face, it was really a very pleasant atmosphere, where good energies flowed, fraternal bonds were tightened and we dreamed of a great and bright future, without knowing it each one of them in the future would take different directions, but undoubtedly we will all be marked by that university passage that undoubtedly forges the character, sharpen our senses and change our lives.
Recuerdo ese día como que si fuera ayer, había mucha alegría a nuestro alrededor, todos vestían bonitas combinaciones y sostenían una sonrisa sincera en su rostro, realmente fue un ambiente bastante agradable, en donde fluían las buenas energías, se estrechaban lazos fraternos y se soñaba en un futuro grande y brillante, sin saberlo cada uno de ellos en un futuro tomaría rumbos diferentes, pero sin duda alguna todos estaremos marcados por ese pasaje universitario que sin duda alguna forja el carácter, afine nuestros sentidos y cambia nuestras vidas.
These images represent for me a very interesting moment in my life, since it was the prelude to what would be in a year later my own celebration, here I saw how time passed slower and slower, I imagined how my moment would be and at the same time I enjoyed and shared fully that immense joy that means to complete an academic study, which for everyone was full of difficulties, challenges and dreams, but in general terms was completed successfully and became the starting point for a great and positive life.
Estas imágenes representan para mí un momento muy interesante de mi vida, ya que se trataba de la antesala de lo que sería en un año después mi propia celebración, acá yo veía como un tiempo transcurría cada vez más lento, me imaginaba cómo sería mi momento y al mismo tiempo disfrutaba y compartía plenamente de ese gozo tan inmenso que significa culminar un estudio académico, el cual para todos estuvo lleno de dificultades, de retos y sueños, pero que en términos generales se completó de manera exitosa y se transformó en el punto de partida para una vida grande y positiva.
This is how these images represent more than a simple memory, it is an experience, an episode of life full of great emotions, intense feelings and big dreams, I could say that it is a moment that is still alive in the minds and hearts of all who participated in it, each one will have their different points of view, each one will remember specific details, but we all agree that it was a time filled with magic, optimism and sincere happiness.
Es así como estas imágenes representan más que un simple recuerdo, se trata de una vivencia, un episodio de la vida cargado de grandes emociones, intensos sentimientos y grandes sueños, podría decir que se trata de un momento que sigue vivo en la mente y los corazones de todos los que participamos en ella, cada uno tendrá sus diferentes puntos de vista, cada quien recordará detalles específicos, pero todos coincidiremos en que se trató de un espacio temporal lleno de magia, optimismo y sincera felicidad.
