Good day, my dear Hivers!
Today, I will share with you the design and the beautiful sights here at Bogo Park.
Sometimes, the simplest errands turn into memorable experiences.
I’ve wanted to visit this park for a long time because its design is so beautiful. I also got to see how it was created since one of the teachers from Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges was the one who made it. You can even see the CRMC logo on its side.
An Unexpected Visit
It was almost night when we passed by here because we were working overtime. My superiors had already ordered food through a phone call, and when Ma’am gave the signal, we were told to head to Penong’s because the food might be ready for pickup—we were really hungry. So, my co-working students and I headed there to get the food.
We were supposed to take the other route, but I insisted, “Let’s go this way because I’ve wanted to pass by here for so long.” My companion agreed, so we took this route.
The Beauty of Bogo Park
As soon as we entered through the gate, on the left side, we immediately saw a lit sign that says “#I LOVE PARKE” in large and colorful letters. The letters are outlined in white and illuminated from behind. The sign is mounted on the side of a small house—I don’t know what’s inside it. Beside it, there are some trees in the background.
What truly captured the moment was the lighting—it was so beautiful. But aside from the lights, it also looked like Cinderella’s carriage from the cartoons, the one that transformed from a pumpkin to a carriage.
In front of the carriage, there’s a large illuminated sculpture of a horse. It can be seen from behind, and the artwork creates an interesting shadow on the surroundings. The horse gives off the impression that it is leaping up on its hind legs, which adds movement and liveliness.
A Magical Carriage
As you can see, there’s also a large illuminated float with a pumpkin-like shape. The float is decorated with vibrant colors that complement each other, including orange, green, and yellow. There are also lights and other decorations, like leaves and a circular emblem with the logo of Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges. From the presence of the leaves, I can say that the float appears to be on a grassy surface.
And this carriage can actually be sat on! Of course, I treasure and cherish the moment of sitting in this magical carriage. The lighting was truly stunning.
A Hungry Ending
After some time, we headed to Penong’s, estimating the time since we hadn’t received any signal from their staff yet.
When we arrived at Penong’s, just a few minutes later, our order was ready.
And that’s all, my dear Hivers!
Thank you for joining me on this short journey. As simple as it may appear, I hope it encourages you to appreciate each moment and discover beauty in the everyday. Until next time!
