People Who Leave a Footprint on the Soul

I will make a confession here in Throwback Thursday, the truth is that I am quite upset at the moment, and I hope I get over writing this post. Many will already know that I am part of the national choir, so it is no secret to anyone that the government has used us many times to sing in protocol acts, but I can't believe that with the current situation they are able to call us too. I'm not going to be part of that shitty swearing in, if they manage to do it, in fact I'm not in the capital, but I think of my colleagues who are forced to fulfill the commitment and the insecurity that means right now and my stomach turns. I just hope everything goes well both for them and for my country 🙏 so to all who read me I ask you to pray for us, there are many innocent people perishing in between both political sides...

Beyond this slip of what is my musical work, today I want to remember the good things and the good and talented people I have met in this medium, and what makes every experience here worthwhile.

Gustavo Dudamel

Christian Vásquez

José Antonio Abreu

These three characters in the pictures above are our Maestros, our great celebrities and the three people with whom I have worked the most in this musical institution and whom I respect with all my soul. Maestro José Antonio Abreu was the one who founded the dream in which we live today, making music at the highest level and with the best possible quality. I was only able to be photographed with him once, but that photo is worth gold to me, since it was difficult for him to be smiling and looking at the camera in the photos of my colleagues. We see less of Dudamel around here, but for a while we had monthly concerts with him, and regarding Christian, perhaps the least popular, but with the same international success as the previous ones, he is a great friend of all of us, besides being a fellow countryman of Aragua State. For me they are my great RockStars ❤️

Plácido Domingo

Oscar D'León

Frank Quintero

Of recognized music stars, I think I must highlight three. Perhaps the experience with them is eternal because we sang as a choir in his concerts with the symphony. Plácido Domingo was a dream for me, and when he came I did not miss a single one of his rehearsals, the admiration is great and we accompanied him to sing the Alma Llanera in the Poliedro of Caracas, a single song, but one of the most valuable. Oscar D'Leon had three great concerts, two at the Teresa Carreño in Caracas and one at the Forum in Valencia, although I was only selected to sing in the first ones. We worked with him for several days, but I had the honor of talking to him for a while and he was very kind and friendly, plus I was going through a strong moment with my dad and this emotion was very good for both of us. I didn't enjoy the concert with Fran Quintero very much because he had a migraine, but we worked with him many times during the week and doing pop music for us is not something very common, so it was a wonderful experience.

Pollo Brito

Eduardo Rodríguez Giolitti

Henrys Silva

- Romain Nadal, Embajador de Francia

- Beatriz Occeas

Miguel Delgado Estévez

Just as our musicians, orchestra conductors, instrumentalists, composers and singers are making international history, we have also been visited and worked with great masters of the world who have raised our level as performers. It is a privilege to be here and learn every day. It has never bothered me to sing in political acts, I only focus on singing, especially if it is the national anthem that I love so much, although I dream of singing it with my colleagues in a different political situation for a long time, at the end of the day I am here for the music, but security is vital in any job. I'm confident that after all 2025 will be a great year of conventions, guests and lots of music for us 🙏

Ohh, so sorry about that, you don't have to be upset. All you need to do is just pray and i hope everything will turn around for good.
What a lovely picture you have here!!!

When we come to politics in any country, is just our prayers that will help us. Don't worry about the situation now. We in Nigeria have decided to take things as we see it. Everything will be okay.
By the way, you look much younger in some of the pictures. But all the pictures are very good.
Thanks for sharing

Abrazo y fuerza!

How nice to read that great people have served as inspiration for you; I think that in every heart there is something special, that inspires and motivates us, and helps us to immerse ourselves in the talent we have.

Beyond the complex scenario of Venezuela, I hope that in this 2025 everything goes wonderful with the orchestra.

Hugs from afar!

WoW este si que es un TBT de grandes ligas. Sobre todo por la fotografía del maestro Abreu
