Today I would like to share with you some photos that were quite popular many years ago in my country, Venezuela, whoever is contemporary with me or even older, will remember that every year in the schools they hired a photographer who went to take the school photo, which served as a graphic way to mark the evolution of the students, looking for photos for TBT I found some of them and I could not help but be filled with nostalgia for my childhood years.
Hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes unas fotos que fueron bastante populares hace muchos años en mi país, Venezuela, quien sea contemporáneo conmigo o incluso mayor, recordará que cada año en las escuelas contrataban un fotógrafo que iba a tomar la foto escolar, la cual servía como una manera gráfica de marcar la evolución de los estudiantes. Buscando fotos para el TBT encontré algunas de ellas y no pude evitar llenarme de nostalgia ante mis años de infancia.
This one for example is from when I was in first grade, I was about five or six years old, I remember it as a very nice time in my life, my teacher was a very sweet woman, I even remember her gentle voice, she reminds me of Matilda's Miss Honey 😊.
Esta por ejemplo es de cuando yo estaba en primer grado, tenía unos cinco o seis años, la recuerdo como una época muy bonita en mi vida, mi profesora era una mujer muy dulce, incluso recuerdo su voz apacible, me recuerda a su vez, de cierta forma a la maestra Miel de Matilda 😊.
In this picture I had already passed to second grade, I was seven years old, at that time my teacher was not as sweet as the previous one but she was still very affectionate, she even became very close friends with my parents, I remember that sometimes we would go to visit her at her house, even after we moved out of town. At this time I was very happy 😄, I loved my school, my friends and the quiet town I lived in, I even remember that in carnival I was elected queen of my class and it was a very nice experience.
En esta foto yo ya había pasado a segundo grado, tenía siete años, en esa época mi maestra no era tan dulce como la anterior pero aún así era muy cariñosa, incluso se volvió muy amiga de mis padres, recuerdo que algunas veces íbamos a visitarla a su casa, aún después de que nos mudamos del pueblo. En esta época yo fui muy feliz 😄, amaba mi colegio, a mis amigos y el pueblo tranquilo en el que vivía, recuerdo incluso que en carnaval fui electa reina de mi clase y fue una experiencia muy bonita.
For this photo I was already in third grade, and although I look happy, it was really a difficult time of adaptation for me, my usual friends were gone, I lived in a lonely urbanization in the state capital. Over the years I obviously adapted to this city and even I can not live without it, but I must admit that I acquired a certain phobia for school environments, as my third grade teacher was despot and had very little tact to work with children, not to mention the one I had in fourth grade. I have always thought that there is nothing worse than a behaviorist teacher, as it biases and destroys children's creativity.
Para esta foto yo ya estaba en tercer grado, y a pesar de que luzco contenta, realmente fue una época difícil de adaptación para mi, ya no estaban mis amigos de siempre, vivía en una urbanización solitaria en la capital del estado. Con el pasar de los años obviamente me adapté a esta ciudad e incluso no puedo vivir sin ella, pero debo reconocer que adquirí cierta fobia por los entornos escolares, ya que mi maestra de tercero era déspota y tenía muy poco tacto para trabajar con niños, y ni que decir de la que tuve en cuarto grado. Siempre he pensado que no hay nada peor que un maestro conductista, ya que sesga y destruye la creatividad de los niños.

I am sure that with time you will adapt very well, your charisma will always open doors for you. Hey, how nice how you remember and how you express yourself about your elementary school teachers, you never forget them, even the ones in kindergarten.
