I don't know if I had already shared these pictures with you before, but I just came across them and they brought back beautiful memories, they are from around 2006 or 2007, at that time I started working as an entertainer and artist in a children's entertainment agency, I was studying at the university, early childhood education, so it was great for me, It's not that I love working with children but for some reason, during those years life always took me to work with them, first in a circus, then in the entertainment agency and later in my internships as an early childhood teacher, however I learned a lot from them and I had very pleasant experiences, almost always.
No sé si yo ya había compartido con ustedes antes estas fotografías, pero acabo de encontrarme con ellas y me trajeron muy bellos recuerdos, sonde más o menos el 2006 o 2007, en esa época yo entré a trabajar como animadora y artista en una agencia de festejos infantiles, yo estaba estudiando en la universidad, educación inicial, así que me venía genial, no es que me encante trabajar con niños pero por alguna razón, durante aquellos años la vida siempre me llevó a trabajar con ellos, primero en un circo, luego en la agencia de festejos y posteriormente en mis pasantías como maestra de educación inicial, sin embargo aprendí mucho de ellos y tuve muy gratas experiencias, casi siempre.
I don't have many pictures from back then because I didn't have a camera, only a 2 megapixel Nokia phone, but even so I always took pictures with it that were left for the memory, unfortunately I lost many of those pictures. In this picture I remember that I was already prepared to go to animate a party with one of my colleagues, I always went as a secondary animator, as a support of the main one, and it was a lot of fun because our job was basically to entertain the kids by dancing or singing for them, directing games, making raffles, organizing dance contests, etc. It was really something I enjoyed a lot, however sometimes it was very tiring because each animation session lasted four hours at that time and many times we had several in a single day.
No tengo muchas fotografías de entonces porque yo no tenía una cámara, solo un teléfono Nokia de 2 megapixeles, pero aún así siempre hacía fotos con él que quedaron para el recuerdo, lamentablemente perdí muchas de esas fotos. En esta foto recuerdo que yo ya estaba preparada para ir a animar una fiesta con uno de mis compañeros, yo siempre iba como animadora secundaria, como apoyo del principal, y era muy divertido porque nuestro trabajo basicamente se trataba de entretener a los niños bailando o cantando para ellos, dirigiendo juegos, haciendo rifas, organizando concursos de baile, etc de verdad era algo que disfrutaba mucho, no obstante a veces era algo agotador porque cada sesión de animación duraba en aquella época cuatro horas y muchas veces teníamos varias en un solo día.
When we had to do children's shows we had to prepare a lot physically to be able to perform all the dance routines, and I remember that one of the things we had to work on the most was flexibility, so there you can see me at home practicing to get to perform a perfect split, I was almost there 🤣 every day I practiced to improve.
Cuando debíamos hacer shows infantiles debíamos prepararnos mucho físicamente para poder ejecutar todas las rutinas de baile, y recuerdo que una de las cosas en las que más debíamos trabajar era la flexibilidad, así que allí pueden verme en casa practicando para llegar a realizar un perfecto split, ya me faltaba poco 🤣 todos los días practicaba para ir mejorando.
And on this occasion it was my turn to play Disney's cutest little bear, Winnie the Pooh 😍 It was very tender to see how the children ran to cling to my legs (which was the only thing they could reach from me 🤣) It was very tender, a very nice and enriching experience but at the same time exhausting, since that suit was very suffocating, besides, the zipper had been damaged and I had to endure a long time inside the suit while they solved the problem, but in general terms it was a great day.
Y en esta ocasión me tocó interpretar al osito más tierno de Disney, Winnie the Pooh 😍 Fue muy tierno ver como los niños corrían a aferrarse de mis piernas (que era lo único que podían alcanzar de mi 🤣) Fue muy tierno, una experiencia muy linda y enriquecedora pero al mismo tiempo agotadora, ya que ese traje era muy sofocante, además, se había dañado la cremallera y tuve que soportar mucho tiempo dentro del traje mientras resolvían el problema, pero en términos generales fue un gran día.
