Exhausted
There's a saying that those who don't travel are dead inside. After living a practical life I've concluded that it's true. When you have to go by the same routine day in and day out, a person feels dead from the inside.
To ease your body and relax your mind from the fast-working world I've always found nature the best therapist.
What is all the fuss for if you can't get some free time for yourself?
How can one not love nature?
I've always been very fond of traveling to new places, from mountain regions to historical places, museums, and different trails. I write this because most people listen to those who have experience in a specific field. Having some leisure time is always good for health, and it brings new life challenges and various experiences that one can't have by working behind a desk.
A tour to the northern Pakistan
everyone has something very close to them for which they wait for very long just so it happens and they can have fun. For me, I always wait for the summer to arrive so I can plan a tour with friends cut off the daily burn, and turn on the mind rehab.
Last summer we planned a tour to Skardu which spanned over 8 days and we designated places we were about to travel to and packed accordingly. We started the journey at night time and covered the road travel at night. The real adventure began the next day. We booked a 12 seater hiace so that we could easily travel the long routes. Our first destination was Minimarg and it was way more beautiful than we imagined. Lush green landscapes with tree-packed mountains and shattered ice here and there and a crystal clear watered lake in the middle of all this. One can't describe the beauty captured by the eyes. Let's dive into it with some pics.
I always wondered why everyone forgets the harshness of the way to destination but in reality, if the destination is beautiful itself you just forget everything else. But sometimes even the roads leading to the destination are as beautiful as the destination itself.
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
The journey must carry on
The downfall of a man starts when he thinks that he has achieved his life goal, and there's nothing left to achieve, that's when he lets his guard down.
So we also carried on our journey from place to place as preplanned and our next stop was at a lakeside for the night stay to get some rest. The real eye-catcher was the star's view at night. Twinkling stars all over the sky and live scattered diamonds were so mesmerizing. Even after such a tiring journey, I stayed awake late after midnight just to capture the view as much as I could in my memories.

On our way, we went on to see so many breathtaking waterfalls and many more lakes which were all proof of their beauty. From high waterfalls in barrens to green watered lakes in the mountains base.
But the most beautiful lake in our journey which caught my attention was Upper Kachura Lake for its beauty and the surroundings enhanced its beauty even more. I hope the pictures will do some justice.
Even after so many mesmerizing and breathtaking views, the real adventure was yet to begin. We started our journey for the Bashu Meadows after booking a 4*4 jeep for off-roading and the road was no more than a ride to hell. The path was so close that even not a full jeep fit on it and the steep was too sharp that on reverse it always felt like it would roll down to its roof. But this one-hour journey was worth taking for the peace yet to be discovered. The first glimpse of the meadow left us all astonished and we were caught in its magical view.
We unpacked our tents to assemble them and then started cooking for dinner on a cylinder stove. After that, we had some laughter while having dinner together. It was a tiring day so everyone went early to sleep.
Now the real hike was about to start for which we planned the whole tour. We started off tracking from the main road and it almost took 3 hours for the jeep to leave us at the hike's starting point. The weather went against us from the very start of the hike and started pouring heavily. We hiked for 3 hours simultaneously but the rain didn't stop for a sec. The temperature was cold enough for an adult to get ill easily and the wind blew down heavily on us. It seemed like the odds weren't in our favor, but still, we carried on the hike and reached the destination. Finally, we were at Haramosh Valley, known for its ultimate beauty and the white wall of hills covered in snow all along the valley. Slowly the weather got sunny and the surroundings got clearer and we all couldn't believe what we were witnessing. Snow-covered mountains on one side and lush green on the other. It seemed like a dream place. It was surely out of this world, It seemed like we were in heaven. We played cricket for a while and went further on to see a lake located there and came back to the camps. We cooked and enjoyed our last meal of the tour together made on our own.
The next day we started our journey back to our hometown.
I've shared my experience so that others also get encouraged to travel and get some rest for themselves. We get depressed due to the daily routine and exhausting daily tensions. So cutting off everything to enjoy some time for yourself has good benefits for your health.
It is true that one cant decline when the nature calls, it looks like you enjoyed your journey a lot and listening to your story makes me want to go to the mountains and spend some days there.

I agree with that expression that those who don't travel and don't experience new places are as dead inside.
What beautiful natural landscapes you bring us in this memory. What a pleasure must be to visit that paradise.
You're on the spot for that. the beauty experienced in the moment cant be describe in words or captured in frames.
