Hello everyone here, it's a happy new year from me to you. Hope you are doing very well today, and I wish us a very beautiful year.
Four days ago, I had the privilege of organizing the second edition of my hangout, and it was so beautiful. I had people tuned up for me, and we all had a beautiful time together.
My godmother was present this time, and because she is a lively person, there was no dull moment with her. She gave a lot of money and encouraged me to do more. It was a swell time for us.
I gathered people who were older and younger than me. I was so excited about it as everything went very well. Everyone had time to sing; my friends also came around and made the place real fun.
When we reached the field, prayers were made, and we started singing, waiting for the preacher of the day. He came fifteen minutes after we started, and when we finished introducing ourselves, he took over. I loved the way he preached and how he explained the scripture for us. He told us the story of Mary Magdalene, how she was crazy about seeing Jesus, even when his disciples gave up on looking and waiting for him. He took time to explain that we need to really carry God very personally so that he would be proud of us.
After the preaching session, one of my big friends took a worship session, and it was awesome. I love his voice; he has a high vocal range, so he made it very interesting, and everyone was happy to hear him sing.
After then, I gave another of my friends the opportunity to sing too, and he sang an old song that was on my mind, and it happened that everyone had that same song on their minds, so he blew our minds; we were so excited.
Then after his session, my cousin led in a very short prayer session, and we prayed about making Jesus proud by being obedient to his word and being holy. It was another time to pray, and we prayed very well.
Before we started I told everyone that we should be free as it was just an hangout. The purpose of the hangout is to bring back simplicity in music and make it very possible for everyone to worship with a humility of heart. I love being real and simple so I thought of having a worship hangout without any musical instruments. I know how I love good music but it seems we are forgetting our real voices, so I tagged it:
"LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD"
So without any form of musical instrument, I urged everyone to come together and sing with their real voices, picturing the morning prayers we used to do in our various homes; we just came together to worship God.
There was this satisfaction I had after the hangout, and I think I should continue with this vision, believing that someday it will be bigger and better for us. I don't want it to just be my thing, but it should be something that would gather a lot of Christians and make them feel good.

You said it very well friend, after an experience like the Hangout the idea is to stay focused on the learning we got and that feeling stays with us for the day to day. What a joy that you were part of the organization, you can tell that the sharing was very intense day and night and that the music was not missing, bravo!
