Hoy vengo por aquí con una foto que acaba de conseguir mi esposa y que me llenó de ternura, es la única que conservamos de ese viaje y lamento no tener más pero de todos modos sentí que debía compartirla con ustedes, se trata del primer viaje que hicimos al estado Zulia (en Venezuela) Fuimos a visitar a mi mejor amigo, al cual desde entonces considero como mi hermano del alma. él y su familia vivían en un pueblo llamado San Timoteo que está a orillas del gran lago de Maracaibo, y debido a que él trabajaba transportando personal a una empresa petrolera (a través del lago) muchas veces tenía a disposición la lancha para su uso personal, aunque otras veces usaba la de un amigo suyo para ir a pescar, y a aunque yo no sabía nada sobre pesca me gustaba unirme al grupo. En esa ocasión recuerdo que yo estaba llegando junto a ellos de una de las excursiones a pescar cuando le pedí a mi esposa que me pasara a nuestra bebé para tomarme una foto con ella (es mi hija mayor @mairene1) aunque en la foto parece un varoncito, entonces no solo nos tomamos una fotografía, sino que mi amigo se subió a la lancha y nos dio un pequeño paseo por el lago, mi bebé estaba encantada, se notaba que estaba disfrutando mucho del paseo. Fueron días maravillosos y por más que los años hayan pasado, que mi amigo ya no esté en el país y que los hijos hayan crecido siempre permanecerán en nuestras memorias y desde luego nuestros corazones.

Today I come here with a photo that my wife just got and that filled me with tenderness, it is the only one we have from that trip and I regret not having more but anyway I felt I should share it with you, it is the first trip we took to the state of Zulia (in Venezuela) We went to visit my best friend, who since then I consider as my soul brother. He and his family lived in a town called San Timoteo which is on the shores of the great lake of Maracaibo, and because he worked transporting personnel to an oil company (across the lake) he often had the boat available for his personal use, although other times he used a friend's boat to go fishing, and although I didn't know anything about fishing I liked to join the group. On that occasion I remember that I was arriving with them from one of the fishing excursions when I asked my wife to hand me our baby so I could take a photo with her (she is my oldest daughter @mairene1) although in the photo she looks like a little boy, so not only did we take a photo, but my friend got on the boat and gave us a short ride around the lake, my baby was delighted, you could tell that she was really enjoying the ride. They were wonderful days and no matter how many years have passed, that my friend is no longer in the country and that the children have grown up, they will always remain in our memories and certainly in our hearts.Las fotografías de este post son de mi propiedad.
