¡Feliz Año Nuevo! Espero que todos hayan pasado unas excelentes festividades y esté arrancando el año con mucha energía y fuerza para cumplir todas sus metas.
No había estado por acá un par de semanas, ya que quise tomarme un tiempo de descanso tanto física como mentalmente para relajarme y planificar con calma las metas que quiero trabajar durante el año. También quería mantenerme algo alejada de las redes sociales por todas las cosas que pasan en mi país, por mi propia salud mental.
Realmente, fue una buena decisión. Me siento renovada y con muchas ideas que quiero poner en práctica.
Una de mis intenciones del año es aprender a llevar las cosas con calma disfrutando completamente lo que decida hacer. El año pasado fue bastante estresante para mí y ya finalizando el año estaba tan cansada mentalmente que sentía me iba a bloquear en cualquier momento, así que quiero enfocarme en mi propia tranquilidad, algo un poco difícil, considerando que los Capricornios somos amantes de mantenernos ocupados todo el tiempo con trabajo y sentimos que si no estamos trabajando por un instante, somos flojos.
Bueno, les cuento que de las últimas ilustraciones que hice el año pasado, una fue para compartir con el grupo de parejas con las que intercambio la historia de Ylia y el Capitán. Fue para el Día de Inocentes.
No sé si en todos los países lo celebrarán, pero acá el Día de Inocentes es el 28 de Diciembre y es el equivalente del "Fool´s Day". Así que en ese día se hacen muchas bromas y nunca se sabe si lo que la gente dice es verdad o mentira y luego te dirán "¡Caíste por inocente!"
Para ese día, les preparé una broma con el Capitán Pete. Les puse como mensaje "Cuando Ylia quiere descubrir lo que el Capitán esconde tras el uniforme" y agregué tantas imágenes de advertencia de NSFW que tenían que obligatoriamente abrir el post si querían ver lo que había.
Por supuesto que la curiosidad les llevaba a abrir la publicación donde se encontraban esto con un mensaje que decía "Creían que iba a encuerar al Capitán? Feliz Día de Inocentes!"
Fue divertido y nos reímos bastante con una broma que sólo buscaba hacerles reír un rato.
Ahora bien este año, a pesar que no he publicado aún la primera ilustración, he estado trabajando en algunos proyectos en los que quiero enfocar mi atención en la tranquilidad de mi pequeño tiempo de vacaciones.
Uno de ellos tiene que ver con mi manga "Ángel Guardián". Desde que inicié a trabajar con esta historia hasta ahora, mi estilo de dibujo ha ido cambiando y evolucionando, lo cual es normal ya que uno empieza a probar técnicas y nuevas formas de expresarse y va avanzando en temas como perspectiva, anatomía y composición.
Para este año, quiero enfocarme en un relanzamiento de la historia en un nuevo formato con el estilo de dibujo actual que tengo. Y ya que estaría haciendo eso, quiero trabajar también con un rebranding empezando por el logo. Originalmente, este era el logo de la serie:
Era algo bastante sencillo y no tenía mucha idea de lo que quería en el momento que lo realicé.
Ahora, tengo un concepto más claro de qué quiero y cómo quiero llevar la historia y eso me llevó a crear un nuevo logo. A partir de ahora, este será el logo oficial de "Ángel Guardián".
Estoy muy entusiasmada con esto y tan pronto esté listo el primer contenido para compartir, lo estaré compartiendo con ustedes acá.
Creo que ya hice este post inicial muy largo así que por el momento, sería todo.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and is starting the year with plenty of energy and strength to achieve all their goals.
I hadn’t been around for a couple of weeks because I wanted to take some time off both physically and mentally to relax and calmly plan the goals I want to work on throughout the year. I also wanted to stay somewhat away from social media due to everything happening in my country, for my own mental health.
It was truly a good decision. I feel renewed and full of ideas that I want to put into practice.
One of my intentions for the year is to learn to take things slowly, fully enjoying whatever I decide to do. Last year was quite stressful for me, and by the end of the year, I was so mentally exhausted that I felt I could block out at any moment, so I want to focus on my own tranquility, which is a bit difficult considering that Capricorns love to keep busy all the time with work and feel that if we're not working for even a moment, we are lazy.
Well, I want to share that of the last illustrations I did last year, one was to share with the group of couples with whom I exchange the story of Ylia and the Captain. It was for Innocents’ Day.
I don’t know if it's celebrated in all countries, but here Innocents’ Day is on December 28th and it’s the equivalent of "April Fool's Day." On that day, many pranks are played, and you never know whether what people say is true or false, and then they’ll tell you, “You fell for it because you were innocent!”
For that day, I prepared a joke with Captain Pete. I put a message that said, "When Ylia wants to discover what the Captain is hiding behind the uniform," and added so many NSFW warning images that they had to open the post if they wanted to see what was there.
Of course, their curiosity led them to open the post, where they found this with a message saying, “Did you think I was going to undress the Captain? Happy Innocents’ Day!”
It was fun, and we all had a good laugh with a joke that was just meant to make them laugh for a while.
Now, this year, even though I haven’t published the first illustration yet, I have been working on some projects where I want to focus my attention on the tranquility of my little vacation time.
One of them is related to my manga "Angel Guardian." Since I started working on this story until now, my drawing style has been changing and evolving, which is normal since you start trying out techniques and new ways of expressing yourself and advance in areas such as perspective, anatomy, and composition.
For this year, I want to focus on a relaunch of the story in a new format with my current drawing style. And since I would be doing that, I also want to work on rebranding, starting with the logo. Originally, this was the logo of the series:
It was quite simple, and I didn’t have much idea of what I wanted at the moment I created it.
Now, I have a clearer concept of what I want and how I want to carry the story, and that led me to create a new logo. From now on, this will be the official logo of "Angel Guardian."
I am very excited about this, and as soon as the first content is ready to share, I will be sharing it with you all here.
