Today we have another free tool for you! This one is... well, it is what it is, and that is a Minimum Viable Product, or MVP. I noticed @quark.top talking about this, and among developers we know this term and use it, we love it. Its important to identify the Minimum Viable Product (usually ugly), so you can get it to a user/customer and test, before investing too much time into the scope creep.

Oh yeah, here it is - ugly as sin and as "minimum viable" as a product gets! But honestly, as a Project Manager, I love this. All the "pretty" stuff can be easily fixed, one by one. Do you want to render the markdown? Do you want to increase image size or force them all to center? This is "easy". The hard part is building an app!

I, personally and immediately, connected with this request - as someone who has been "saying stuff by keyboard" into the blockchain for a LONG time. I often spend valuable minutes trying and failing to find my own posts, even when I think I know more or less the title of the post and some key phrases.
It should be "easy", but it isn't - currently. We first build the backlinker to help with this, and make it a lot faster to get the posts, but we are not storing body text.
But with HIVE-Memories - Kitty found her peaches! A pdf reader has built in search functions, or you can just use your browser.

Yes, no doubt about that. That is the rule. And you and I would likely disagree on what constitutes "viable" in an MVP product.

Since I have bookmarked your Crazy GM collection of tools, I noticed this was on a different website?
One of the things we are already thinking about, moving forward, is how all this stuff connects. Its not always the greatest idea to build a "frankenstein's monster". Since you are following along, you'll probably read more about this.
Vercel is a free app hosting site, used by developers for rapid deployment and testing; as this was delivered by another team - we are sharing it with you here, quick and ugly!
I'm not sure yet if the next version will even be a new and different tool, as this does seem to be a quick and dirty way to do this, especially for "relatively" new blogs, or at least those who aren't loading thousands of posts.

This is actually a pretty cool tool. Might not be the prettiest thing ever, but if it works, who cares. Searching old posts is a pain, so anything that makes it easier is a win for all

Let it go, if it doesnt error. Some posts seem to take way longer than others. There are mysteries here still to figure out (for us), but if it doesnt say error, leave it be.
I was able to work in a new tab during the process.
I'm thinking playing my game is slowing it down and will try again once I have to close it to help Hubby

I actually like the name, MVP. It's worth calling it that. When you spend years on Hive engaging regularly you create a huge ass database that's not easy to go through without an efficiency tool like this
Very cool idea! I had thought of something similar a while ago but as I only wanted to target very specific posts I was able to just run through my own tags and find everything easy for copy/paste into a doc. This is super useful!
