We should make a post today too

Life continues, and if there were one habit I wish to get back going into years end it is making posts. I might have to fake it at first, but we should get in the swing pretty quickly.

I did just what @snook told me and put "fall asleep" in the title and the description, and now it has 148 views! Less than half of those are me, most likely.

And rainy season it is indeed, it can be hard to find good weather patches long enough to procrastinate outside with a machete in my hands, like I most enjoy. "Invierno", as they say in spanish, means winter, and climatologically speaking at least, it is here. My northern genes want to get fat and lazy, although I'm not sure that is the best idea.

But with arbitrages increasing, it is ever more profitable to sit in the cabin and stare at a screen - and if I am doing that then I better be doing some other things along with it.

Well, I have been keeping an eye on the screens, I am focusing on writing more and finding more reasons to write. There is a lot of fun stuff going on, those people who never stopped working, building, dreaming, doing.

And when the rain let's up, I run outside and cut some grass or clean some area. One of these days I need to break out the electric chain saw again and do some pruning.

But I have advanced on other fronts, for example I edited together this video of my wife's @ecoinstante comments on the GLFx panel at COP16 in Cali, Colombia.

That's a real cut up job right there, with some audio overlapping even. I'm gaining confidence with it, and have a lot of my own footage from the event(s) and the birding hostel afterwards. I shall work on editing this together before COP16 is old news! (too late).

But I definitely will come back to my tried and true - for so long this blog has brought me "back to reality" and given me a golden thread to hang onto on this ride we call life.

So let's keep writing.
