El cobre
Es uno de los lugares más pequeños de Cuba pero también uno de los más acojedores.
Cada año voy por respondabilidades de la iglesia y me sigo maravillando con sus lugares y sus costumbres. La hospitalidad y la amabilidad de su gente es algo que yo describiría como calentarte el corazón.
Uno de sus fabulosos lugares es la famosamente conocida Loma del Cimarrón, este lugar alberga el Monumento al Cimarrón una impresionante escultura de casi 10 metros de altura creada por el artista cubano Alberto Lescay. Por si no sabias la escultura semeja una figura mitica que tiene el cuerpo y la mano de hombre pero la cabeza de un caballo.
"No hay nada más cercano en los seres humanos que el sentimiento de cimarrón, de ser libre. No nacimos para ser atados. Por lo tanto, es un símbolo universal, no solo de los negros, ni de los chinos, ni de los blancos. Es humano, universal".
“Tristemente durará por muchos siglos. Lamentablemente, la idea de esclavizar a otros está presente, aunque ahora han cambiado los métodos. Si tratan de esclavizar tu mente y tu inteligencia, de mantenerte analfabeto para que no pienses, o te dan una tarjeta magnética de la cual dependes, son maneras de esclavizarnos. Ante ello, el símbolo del cimarronaje necesita de la esclavitud para existir”, mencionó el artista, sentimientos que reflejó en su obra que aún hoy en dia llegan personas de todos lados para admirarla.
Subir alla arriba no solo te da la vista de la estatua sino también una vista panoramica del cobre, incluido el magestuoso Santuario que alberga a La virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, tambien existe algo llamado pozo azul, una laguna que esta junto a estos en el Mirador, cuantas bellezas turisticas juntas!
Esto también sirve como lugar de las Fiestas del Fuego que se hacen en la provincia.
La verdad es un pueblo pequeño pero deja impacto en tu corazón, no te vas a arrepentir de ir al cobre y recuerda comprar una Virgen de la Caridad, como dice la famosa cancion de trio matamoros: "y si vas al cobre quiero q me traigas una virgencita de la caridad".
Estos lugareños tan debotos hacen ya sea visitas a los ancianos, actividades para todos los grupos sociales, conciertos, jubileos, campamentos o convivencias, entre otros, ya sea para la comunidad catolica como para el pueblo, pero, ¿quien no es deboto en el cobre?.
En algunas de las veces que he estado allí he conocido personas muy talentosas, porque en cada rincón siempre hay un artista, ¿o no?, personas muy amables y cariñosas. La tranquilidad y la paz que te provoca el lugar es embriagante. Así que si quieres pasar un buen dia ya seas tu solo, con tu familia o grupo de amigos no vas a arrepentirte de ir a este lugar como primera opcion.

Copper
It is one of the smallest places in Cuba but also one of the most cracking.
Every year I go by church respondents and I continue marveling at their places and customs.The hospitality and kindness of its people is something that I would describe how your heart.
One of its fabulous places is the famously known Loma del Cimarrón, this place houses the Cimarrón monument an impressive sculpture of almost 10 meters high created by Cuban artist Alberto Lescay.In case you did not know the sculpture resembles a mythical figure that has the body and hand of man but the head of a horse.

Going up there not only gives you the view of the statue but also a panoramic view of copper, including the Magestanoso Sanctuary that houses the Virgin of Charity of copper, there is also something called Pozo Azul, a lagoon that is next to them inThe viewpoint, how many tourist beauties together!
This also serves as a place of the fire parties that are made in the province.
The truth is a small town but leaves an impact on your heart, you will not regret going to copper and remember to buy a virgin of charity, as the famous song of trio Matamoros says: "And if you go to copper I want you to bring mea virgin of charity. "
These vonsitanos are visited by these students, activities for all social groups, concerts, jubilee, camps or coexistence, among others, either for the Catholic community as for the people, but who is not owed in thecopper?.
In some of the times I have been there, I have met very talented people, because in every corner there is always an artist, or not? Very friendly and affectionate people.The tranquility and peace that causes you the place is intoxicating.So if you want to spend a good day you are your alone, with your family or group of friends you will not regret going to this place as the first option.
