We were outside a lot again today. It was around 21°C and very sunny. Our son sees the world differently than he did a year ago and we can do a lot more with him. In the morning we went to Neubiberg, then to Poing Wildlife Park. In the evening, we went for a short bike ride through the park next door. We want to get to know the town and the surrounding area better and discover interesting places.
There's a lot to discover, for example, I don't know every corner yet, even though I've lived here for over 11 years. I already have a few corners that I really like, such as Nymphenburg Palace with its beautiful garden, Odeonsplatz, Königsplatz, the Alte Pinakothek and the Lehnbachhaus.
Most activities cost nothing or are very cheap on Sundays. For example, admission to the Alte Pinakothek costs just €1 per person on Sundays. There is also the Munich Family Pass, which allows you to book activities for less. A few months ago, we decided to see something new in the city every week, be it a museum, an attraction or a concert. This way, our son gets to know his home town better. The city is beautiful and sometimes I have the feeling that tourists are only offered a few sights, and some of them are quite boring.

Heute waren wir wieder viel draußen. Es war um die 21°C und sehr sonnig. Unser Sohn sieht die Welt anders als vor einem Jahr und wir können viel mehr mit ihm unternehmen. Vormittags waren wir in Neubiberg, danach im Wildpark Poing. Abends noch eine kleine Radtour durch den Park nebenan. Wir wollen die Stadt und die Umgebung besser kennen lernen und interessante Orte entdecken.
Es gibt viel zu entdecken, zum Beispiel kenne ich noch nicht jede Ecke, obwohl ich schon über 11 Jahre hier lebe. Ich habe schon ein paar Ecken, die ich sehr mag, wie zum Beispiel das Schloss Nymphenburg mit seinem schönen Garten, den Odeonsplatz, den Königsplatz, die Alte Pinakothek oder das Lehnbachhaus.
Die meisten Aktivitäten kosten nichts oder sind am Sonntag sehr günstig. Zum Beispiel kostet der Eintritt in die Alte Pinakothek am Sonntag nur 1€ pro Person. Es gibt auch den Münchener Familienpass, mit dem man die Aktivitäten günstiger buchen kann. Wir haben vor ein paar Monaten beschlossen, jede Woche etwas Neues in der Stadt zu sehen, sei es ein Museum, eine Sehenswürdigkeit oder ein Konzert. So lernt unser Sohn seine Heimatstadt besser kennen. Die Stadt ist wunderschön, und manchmal habe ich das Gefühl, dass den Touristen nur wenige Sehenswürdigkeiten angeboten werden, und einige davon sind ziemlich langweilig.

That's a great picture! Sounds like some good stuff to do around there. Here that's never a problem, it's the crowds that get annoying here in southern California. Plenty to do but way too many people have the same idea! lol
