Since we’re entering the last week of the first month in the penultimate (second from the last) year of the first quarter of the third millennium, it’s time to ensure I’ve got my head on straight.
I’ve tried, since moving my newsletter back to Substack, to set a posting schedule that makes sense and touches on the topics I want to write about. Here’s what I’ve decided to do …
Starting next week, I’ll rotate topics, writing about what it’s like to be a Christian in the 21st century, Web3 social media, and speculative fiction. Each week, I’ll share a post in the corresponding category and send an email to all subscribers of that category. On the fourth week of each month, I’ll write about writing or about what it’s like to be an author.
For February, it will look something like this:
- February 3 - Topic: How Important is Christian Doctrine? Category: ++The Crux++.
- February 10 - Topic: What is Speculative Flash Fiction? Category: ++Spec-Fic Files++.
- February 17 - Topic: Who Meme Coins REALLY Benefit Category: ++Web3 Social++.
- February 24 - Topic: 5 Challenges to Being a Traveling Author Category: ++The Taylor Karass++
Note that “The Taylor Karass” is the name of the newsletter. Therefore, anything in that category is sent to all subscribers and published under the main heading rather than a specific newsletter category. If you’re interested in any of the specific categories mentioned above, please subscribe to that category. ++Here’s how++.
You’ll notice that the above posts are scheduled for release on Mondays. I’ll also upload content later in the week (usually Thursdays) for paid subscribers.
Paid subscription content currently consists of the stories from the Garden of Eden Anthology and their audio readings (++here’s a sample++). This is the only place where the Garden of Eden text and audio can be found together. When I’m done uploading those files, I’ll begin uploading Web3 Social (text and audio) and include some original content, as well.
If there’s anything you’d like to see me write about in any future issues of the newsletter, please let me know in the comments or by replying to this newsletter from your email inbox.
Soon, I’ll have a cool announcement about video content. Be on the lookout for that!
Here’s where I’ll be signing books this week:
- Tuesday, January 28, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Kroger in Mesquite, Texas. Location: 919 Faithon P Lucas Sr Blvd.
- Wednesday, January 29, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Kroger in Mesquite, Texas. Location: 919 Faithon P Lucas Sr Blvd.
