Hoy les contaré lo emocionante qué fue la búsqueda de regalos para el día de las madres.
Today I will tell you how exciting the search for Mother's Day gifts was.
Hacerles detalles a las personas que amo es una de las cosas que más disfruto hacer en la vida, normalmente me esmero en hacerle detalles a las tías de mi esposo y a las mías qué tengo cerca, además de por supuesto a mi mamá, a mi suegra y nuestras abuelas.
Making details to the people I love is one of the things I most enjoy doing in life, I usually take care to make details to my husband's aunts and my aunts who are close to me, plus of course my mom, my mother-in-law and our grandmothers.
Sin embargo, este año por falta de presupuesto y tiempo tuvimos que reducir la cantidad de regalos solo a nuestras mamás, aunque para compartir con nuestras familias (nuestras tías y abuelas) apoyamos con la colaboración de las comidas qué se hicieron.
However, this year due to lack of budget and time we had to reduce the amount of gifts only to our moms, although to share with our families (our aunts and grandmothers) we supported with the collaboration of the meals that were made.
Al final nos decidimos en buscarles unos lindos y buenos regalos a nuestras mamás para homenajearlas como ellas se merecen y con el apoyo de nuestros padres y hermanos nos pusimos manos a la obra.
In the end we decided to find some nice gifts for our moms to honor them as they deserve and with the support of our parents and siblings we got down to work.
Este año ha sido un año de muchas ocupaciones y eso ha hecho que no tuviéramos suficiente capital para los regalos que queríamos darle a nuestras madres, entonces nos ideamos la opción de compartir regalo con nuestros papás para darles algo que fuese significativo, útil y bonito, cosas que ambas necesitarán y que les pudieran gustar muchísimo.
This year has been a busy year and that has meant that we didn't have enough capital for the gifts we wanted to give our mothers, so we came up with the option of sharing a gift with our dads to give them something meaningful, useful and beautiful, things that they will both need and that they would really like.
Con mi suegra nos habíamos dado cuenta de que sus zapatos deportivos ya necesitaban reemplazo y ella es una persona que los usa mucho en su día a día, ya que son zapatos que le ofrecen confort para las actividades que diariamente realiza, así que ya lo teníamos visto, el regalo eran unos nuevos deportivos para que sustituyera los antiguos.
With my mother-in-law we had realized that her sports shoes already needed replacement and she is a person who uses them a lot in her day to day, as they are shoes that offer comfort for her daily activities, so we had already seen it, the gift was a new pair of sports shoes to replace the old ones.
Nos fuimos al centro comercial, "La Cascada" y llegamos super temprano, aun las tiendas no habían abierto, así que nos dio chance de poder revisar con calma en las tiendas de calzados cuáles opciones se ajustaban mejor a nuestra necesidad y presupuesto. En medio de la búsqueda vimos que la marca Skechers tenía una oferta para el día de las madres que nos cayó de maravilla y no lo pensamos mucho para saber que era allí donde compraríamos el regalo para mi suegra.
We went to the mall, "La Cascada" and arrived super early, the stores had not yet opened, so it gave us a chance to check calmly in the shoe stores which options were best suited to our needs and budget. In the middle of the search we saw that the brand Skechers had an offer for Mother's Day that we fell in love with and we did not think much to know that it was there where we would buy the gift for my mother-in-law.
Apenas abrieron sus puertas fuimos directo a buscar los calzados en promoción y nos emocionamos mucho de ver que había varios modelos que se ajustaban al presupuesto y que sabíamos que les gustarían. El color favorito de mi suegra es el rosado y por ende todas nuestras opciones giraban en torno a ese color, ya qué de verdad a ella le encanta. Ella es una talla más que la mía así que yo serví de modelo para ver si había zapatos de los que nos gustaron de la talla de ella.
As soon as they opened their doors we went straight to look for the shoes on promotion and we were thrilled to see that there were several models that fit the budget and that we knew they would like. My mother-in-law's favorite color is pink and so all of our choices revolved around that color, as she really loves it. She is one size bigger than me so I served as a model to see if there were any of the shoes we liked in her size.
Ya cuando teníamos el regalo de la primera mamá (mi suegra) nos fuimos de la cascada al otro lado de la ciudad, en el sector Tipuro donde está la tienda favorita de mi mamá, se llama Vestidísima y allí siempre venden cosas hermosas a buenos precios.
When we had the gift from the first mom (my mother-in-law) we went from the waterfall to the other side of the city, in the Tipuro sector where my mom's favorite store is, it's called Vestidísima and there they always sell beautiful things at good prices.
Al entrar se me hizo difícil buscar algo para mi mamá, pues había muchas cosas bellísimas qué me gustaban para ella, sin embargo, consulte con mi papá vía WhatsApp para que me ayudara a escoger lo que le íbamos a regalar.
When I went in, it was difficult to find something for my mom, because there were so many beautiful things that I liked for her, however, I consulted with my dad via WhatsApp to help me choose what we were going to give her.
Para este regalo también me toco servir de modelo referencial para tener una idea de como se veían las prendas puestas y poder escoger, al final nos decidimos por una hermosa braga de Jean qué sabíamos que le encantaría.
For this gift I also had to serve as a reference model to get an idea of how the garments looked on and to be able to choose, in the end we decided on a beautiful Jean panty that we knew she would love.
Ya con los regalos en mano, mi esposo y yo cumplimos con la misión muy contentos de saber que podíamos consentir a nuestras mamás, así fuese con la ayuda de hacerles un regalo compartido en conjunto con nuestros padres.
With the gifts in hand, my husband and I completed the mission, very happy to know that we could spoil our moms, even if it was with the help of giving them a shared gift together with our parents.
La verdad es que hacerlas felices y poder atenderlas es algo que nos lleva de vida y motivación, nuestras madres son maravillosas, no pudiéramos tener unas mejores y ellas se merecen todo y más ❤️.
The truth is that making them happy and being able to take care of them is something that brings us life and motivation, our mothers are wonderful, we could not have better ones and they deserve everything and more ❤️
