Hi, lifestyle community! I'm delighted to be here to share a little bit about how I spent my February 14th. Valentine's Day is a special occasion that I couldn't let pass unnoticed, and since I love celebrating it, my sister and I decided to go out and have our own date. We wanted to do something different, so we chose to visit a new restaurant for us, located in the east of Barquisimeto: Tulum Gastro Bar. We discovered the place through Instagram, and it seemed like the perfect spot to spend Valentine's Day.
When we arrived, we found a charming place. Tulum Gastro Bar has a restaurant area with live music and a beautiful terrace for those who prefer outdoor dining. Since the day was a bit hot, my sister and I decided to stay inside. From the moment we walked in, I was fascinated by the restaurant's decor—every detail was carefully thought out to create a cozy and elegant experience.

We placed our order, and to our surprise, while waiting, we were given complimentary nachos with salsa. I absolutely loved this small gesture; it was such a nice touch. When our dishes arrived, I couldn't have been happier with my choice: I ordered a Texas burger, while my sister went for the Guadalajara. Both burgers were delicious, and the portions were so generous that I thought I wouldn't be able to finish mine. For drinks, we opted for a strawberry smoothie, which paired perfectly with our meal.

After enjoying our dinner, we decided to explore the upper level of the restaurant, where there is a café section with a more relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. I really loved this part of the place because it offered a different kind of experience. What caught my attention the most was that they had activities like painting small plaster figurines. I found this idea absolutely charming, so my sister and I didn’t hesitate to join in. There was a great variety of options and sizes, and we each chose a figurine for $5.
Painting was one of my favorite parts of the day. It was a relaxing and fun activity that I truly enjoyed. I chose to paint my little bear with the signature colors of my favorite group, Seventeen, and I added some small details like my characteristic cherries to personalize it even more. Additionally, in the café, you could enjoy coffee, ice cream, or cake while painting, which added an extra charm to the experience and made it a perfect plan for a date or a special outing.

Without a doubt, this Valentine's Day was one of the best I’ve ever had. I was absolutely delighted with Tulum Gastro Bar, and I’m sure I’ll be back soon. It was an unforgettable day filled with great food, a cozy atmosphere, and a creative activity that allowed me to enjoy the moment to the fullest.

Mi San Valentín
Holis comunidad de lifestyle, encantada de estar por aquí para compartir con ustedes un poco de lo que fue mi 14 de Febrero. San Valentín es una fecha especial que no podía desaprovechar, y como me encanta celebrarlo, mi hermana y yo decidimos salir y tener nuestra propia cita. Queríamos hacer algo diferente, así que optamos por ir a un restaurante nuevo para nosotras, ubicado en el este de Barquisimeto: Tulum Gastro Bar. Descubrimos el lugar a través de Instagram y nos pareció el sitio perfecto para pasar San Valentín.
Al llegar, nos encontramos con un espacio encantador. Tulum Gastro Bar cuenta con un área de restaurante con música en vivo y una hermosa terraza para quienes prefieren comer al aire libre. Como el día estaba un poco caluroso, mi hermana y yo decidimos quedarnos adentro. Desde que entramos, quedé fascinada con la decoración del lugar, cada detalle estaba cuidadosamente pensado para brindar una experiencia acogedora y elegante.

Hicimos nuestro pedido y, para nuestra sorpresa, mientras esperábamos nos regalaron nachos con salsa, cortesía de la casa. Este pequeño detalle me encantó y me pareció un gesto muy agradable. Cuando llegaron nuestros platos, no podía estar más contenta con mi elección: pedí una hamburguesa Texas y mi hermana una Guadalajara. Ambas hamburguesas estaban riquísimas, y la porción era tan generosa que pensé que no podría terminármela. Para beber, optamos por un batido de fresa, que combinó perfectamente con la comida.

Después de disfrutar nuestra cena, decidimos explorar la parte superior del restaurante, donde tienen una sección de cafetería con un ambiente más tranquilo y relajado. Me gustó muchísimo esta parte del lugar, ya que ofrecía una experiencia diferente. Lo que más me llamó la atención fue que tenían actividades como pintar figuritas de yeso. Esta idea me pareció simplemente encantadora, así que mi hermana y yo no dudamos en participar. Había una gran variedad de opciones y tamaños, y cada una elegimos una figurita de 5$.
Pintar fue una de mis partes favoritas del día. Fue una actividad relajante y divertida que realmente disfruté. Elegí pintar mi osita con los colores característicos de mi grupo favorito, Seventeen, y agregué unos pequeños detalles como mis características cerezas para personalizarlo aún más. Además, en la cafetería también podías disfrutar de un café, helado o torta mientras pintabas, lo que le daba un plus a la experiencia y lo convertía en un plan perfecto para una cita o una salida especial.

Definitivamente, este San Valentín fue uno de los mejores que he tenido. Quedé encantada con Tulum Gastro Bar y estoy segura de que volveré pronto. Fue un día inolvidable lleno de buena comida, un ambiente acogedor y una actividad creativa que me permitió disfrutar el momento al máximo.
