Celery is one of my favorite vegetables. I love the taste and smell of it and eat it with almost anything. I also enjoy making green juice from the celery stalks. Celery is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and potassium. It is highly refreshing and great for my bowl movement.
I haven’t had some green juice in weeks, and I noticed I’ve been feeling a lot more bloated Han when I used to drink green juice every other day. This morning, I remembered I had some celery stalks in the refrigerator and decided to put them to work.
Full list of ingredients used were:
Celery stalks
Apple
Ginger
Pineapple
Lemon(not in the picture)
I totally forgot I had one lonely lemon on the fridge so I tossed it in last minute. pineapple is also great when it comes to digestion and it serves as a natural sweetener. I blended and strained and enjoyed my green juice before I went on to prepare breakfast. I didn’t make much because I don’t like to store fresh juices for too long.
I have several recipes for green juices but the most important thing for me is to keep it simple. If you have ulcer or thin stomach lining then you should skip the lemon or substitute it for cucumbers. I also have a wonderful lemon juice recipe that I can’t wait to share with you.
By the way, I wasn’t certain whether this post is right for this community or it belongs on a food community; I hope it does. It is a part of my lifestyle and daily routine after all.
