Today, while going through my photo gallery, I came across an image that immediately made me smile: the beautiful birds of paradise that I photographed at the El Castillo Museum in Medellín. Among so many photos full of memories and special moments, these flowers stood out as a small treasure of vibrant colors and elegant shapes.

Hoy, mientras revisaba mi galería de fotos, me encontré con una imagen que me hizo sonreír de inmediato: las hermosas aves del paraíso que fotografié en el Museo El Castillo, en Medellín. Entre tantas fotos llenas de recuerdos y momentos especiales, estas flores destacaron como un pequeño tesoro de colores vibrantes y formas elegantes.
I remembered that day at the museum, walking through its manicured gardens, surrounded by nature and charming architecture. But it was upon encountering these flowers that I was truly enraptured. Their huge, sturdy orange and yellow petals looked like little living sculptures, as if at any moment they were going to take flight. I couldn't resist and took several photos, trying to capture their beauty in all its expression.
Recordé aquel día en el museo, caminando por sus jardines bien cuidados, rodeada de naturaleza y arquitectura encantadora. Pero fue al encontrarme con estas flores cuando me quedé realmente embelesada. Sus enormes y resistentes pétalos naranjas y amarillos parecían pequeñas esculturas vivas, como si en cualquier momento fueran a alzar el vuelo. No pude resistirme y tomé varias fotos, tratando de capturar su belleza en toda su expresión.
Today, seeing them again, I felt they were the perfect way to say goodbye to February. This month has been a journey of special moments, of learning and unforgettable moments of happiness, and what better way to close it than with the image of something so beautiful. Birds of paradise remind me that there is always beauty around us, we just have to stop for a moment to contemplate and admire it.
So, before welcoming March, I wanted to share this gift from nature: a flash of color and life that transports me back to that day at the museum and that, without a doubt, inspires me to continue finding beauty in the everyday.

Hoy, al verlas de nuevo, sentí que eran la manera perfecta de despedir febrero. Este mes ha sido un viaje de momentos especiales, de aprendizajes y de inolvidables instantes de felicidad, y qué mejor manera de cerrarlo que con la imagen de algo tan hermoso. Las aves del paraíso me recuerdan que siempre hay belleza a nuestro alrededor, solo hay que detenerse un momento a contemplarla y admirarla.
Así que, antes de dar la bienvenida a marzo, quise compartir este regalo de la naturaleza: un destello de color y vida que me transporta a aquel día en el museo y que, sin duda, me inspira a seguir encontrando belleza en lo cotidiano.
¡Adiós febrero, gracias por tanto!
