A walk can begin when the sunlight is alive and end when it has gone out and the moon and the Christmas lights of the city have given way.

Paseo del Parque es una de las avenidas más importantes de la ciudad de Málaga y que se corresponde de un lado con el casco histórico de la ciudad y del otro lado con el paseo marítimo.
Sus aceras son muy amplias y están llenas de vegetación a su alrededor porque es una avenida que tiene a uno de los parques botánicos más hermosos y grandes de la ciudad, y en pleno centro de la misma.
Cuando la ciudad se prepara para la Navidad y el Año nuevo una de estas aceras se llena de puestos, uno al lado del otro, y todos ellos conforman el famoso mercadillo navideño de la calle Paseo del Parque.

Allí podemos encontrar los más variados productos, desde diversos juguetes o muñecos de moda para que los padres y abuelos compren algún regalito para los niños, como también los tradicionales pesebres o belenes que decoran las casas.
Cada determinada cantidad de puestos también hay lugares de comida como los tradicionales buñuelos malagueños, esto es algo que se repite mucho a lo largo del recorrido.
There you can find a wide variety of products, from toys and fashion dolls for parents and grandparents to buy presents for their children, to the traditional nativity scenes and cribs that decorate the houses.

Los stands que más me gustaron son los que contenían los belenes, pero no por el hecho de los pesebres en sí mismos sino porque dentro del mismo lugar había artesanías tan variada y diversa que era un placer mirarlas, como estaban hechas en miniatura.

Y una de las cosas que me llamó la atención eran los puestos donde vendían sacos térmicos, para el frío, antes no los había visto o quizás en otros años no había prestado atención, pero había varios de ellos. Pero por supuesto los calcetines navideños no podían faltar, siempre están por todas partes, otra de las tradiciones.

Las calles poco a poco comenzaron a cambiar y las luces de las decoraciones navideñas en los árboles y demás lugares comenzaron a encenderse. La gente igualmente visita mucho este mercadillo por la noche, porque ya a las 18 hs. prácticamente es de noche.
No importa que ese día hiciera algo de frío y viento la gente estaba ahí recorriendo el mercadillo, tanto niños como adultos. Representa como un paseo tradicional para todo el mundo, porque hay cosas hermosas para ver y para todos los gustos.

Finalmente, el mercadillo se vio en la noche hermosa y decorada, y eso me encanta. Aún había más aire navideño y la gente sigue su paseo disfrutando. Ahora no sólo admiraba la cantidad de artículos y cosas hermosas que había allí sino también la ciudad vestida de fiesta.
Es un gran paseo que disfrutan tanto residentes como turistas y de estos últimos hay muchísimos en esta época del año.

Finally, the flea market looked beautiful and decorated in the evening, and I love that. There was even more Christmas air and people continued their stroll enjoying themselves. Yes, it is less cold there than in Malmo 🥶. The stalls at the flea market are very similar to the ones at the Plaza Mayor here. But of course, they are not among palm trees and surrounded by nature. I enjoyed the walk.
