When we started dating, a list was made. A lot of the things there are what @octocel wanted to do, and we have slowly crossing all of them from it. It isn't the fastest process, but it is a joy to get to do one of them.
This is the case of the beach picnic. Last year, I had gone to the beach once when my mom celebrated her birthday and had both a trip to the pool and then to Mochima. I went to the latter. Pools are not really my thing. Now having a girlfriend and the idea of going to the beach on a Sunday to have a picnic and enjoy some quality time, I couldn't miss the chance!
We made some preparations. Each one prepared something to get our food and drinks. Then, we met near downtown to reach the beach. It was funny since we didn't know how to the get to the beach by means of urban transportation. However, we managed to pull through and got to the beach around 9am. And the place was beautiful.
One of the best things of living near it in the coast is that you have all the light you need to take amazing photos. However, we didn't take that many since we spend the time telling stories and having some interesting conversations to keep the ball rolling in the relationship business. It was a really good day. After the beach, we had some alone time, then coffee and lastly I went back home really late.
Totally worth it. I just hope this is one of the things in the list that we get to repeat some time soon. Enjoying the beauty of the place is always better with someone else.
