Today I want to tell you about my experience buying in this pastry shop that opened in December here in Valencia, Venezuela, it's called Mini Market and for pastry chefs like me, or pastry lovers in general is a complete and absolute paradise, is that they sell absolutely everything, pastry items in general but also sell ingredients, even those that are difficult to get everywhere, best of all is that they have very affordable prices, much cheaper than in the Periferico market, which is where I usually went to buy these things.

Hoy quiero contarles acerca de mi experiencia comprando en esta una tienda de repostería que inauguraron en diciembre aquí en Valencia, Venezuela, se llama Mini Market y para los chef pasteleros como yo, o amante de la repostería en general es un completo y absoluto paraíso, es que venden absolutamente de todo, artículos para repostería en general pero también venden ingredientes, incluso aquellos que son difíciles de conseguir en todas partes, lo mejor de todo es que tienen precios muy accesibles, mucho más económicos que en el mercado Periférico, que es donde normalmente yo iba a comprar estas cosas.
They have all kinds of milk creams and chantilly creams as well as condensed and evaporated milks, ahhhh it's a pastry chef's paradise, these products range from 1.50 to 5 $ depending on the brands and the grams contained in the product.

Another thing I loved about the shop is that they sell sprinkles, nuts and other dried fruits by weight, so you can take exactly the amount you need or want. These products are used to flavour and/or decorate biscuits, cakes and other desserts.
Otra de las cosas que me encantó de la tienda, es que venden sprinkles, nueces y demás frutos secos por peso, es decir, puedes llevar exactamente la cantidad que necesitas o quieres, estos productos se usan para saborizar y/o decorar galletas, tortas y otros postres.
I was just passing through the shop to check that it was as good as I had been told, but naturally I couldn't resist buying a few things that I needed both for my work and for my home, little things that are very necessary in this profession and which I was glad to have found there.
Yo solo estaba de paso por la tienda para comprobar que fuese tan buena como me habían dicho, pero naturalmente no pude resistirme a comprar algunas cosas que yo necesitaba tanto para mi trabajo como para mi hogar, son cositas muy necesarias en esta profesión y que me alegré de haber encontrado en ese lugar.
I bought these sprinkles that I found in packages of 100 grams at only one dollar per package, I bought them this way because I found it very practical and they come hermetically sealed, they will be perfect to use them as decoration in some biscuits that I plan to make soon.
Compré estos sprinkles que encontré en empaques de 100 gramos a solo un dólar por paquete, los compré de esta manera porque me pareció muy practico y además vienen sellados herméticamente, serán perfectos para usarlos como decoración en unas galletas que pienso hacer próximamente.
When I saw this tiny mould I loved it, so I decided to buy it, look how small it is compared to my hand, plus it only cost 3$.
Cuando vi este molde pequeñito me encantó, así que decidí comprarlo, miren lo pequeño que es en comparación con mi mano, además solo costaba 3 $
But then I saw this one that I liked much more, it is also removable, meaning it will make the unmolding process even easier, I bought it because it suits me perfectly for a signature dessert that I have been designing lately, so as soon as I saw it I said to myself "It has to be mine." The best of all is that it is much cheaper, it only costs $2.50. If the taste of the dessert I'm thinking of selling sells well, I'll surely come buy more of these, because they're also ideal for cooking tartlets.
Pero luego vi este que me gustó mucho más, también es desmontable, es decir que hará que el proceso de desmoldado sea aún más fácil, lo compré porque me viene perfectamente para un postre de autor que he estado diseñando últimamente, así que en cuanto lo vi me dije a mí misma "Tiene que ser mío" Lo mejor de todo es que es mucho más barato, solo cuesta 2.50 $. Si la prueba del postre que estoy pensando hacer sale bien, seguramente vendré a comprar más de estos, porque además son ideales para cocinar tartaletas.
And finally I bought this pastry set that consists of a palette or pastry tongue, which is used to integrate ingredients, and a brush that is used to spread ingredients such as egg or melted butter, both elements are very important, in this store they had a price of $2.16 but what I like most besides the material, resistant silicone, is its totally kawaii design, seriously, I loved it, it looks a lot like my personality.
Y por último compré este set de repostería que consta de una paleta o lengua de pastelería, que sirve para integrar ingredientes, y una brocha que sirve para untar ingredientes como huevo o mantequilla derretida, ambos elementos son muy importantes, en esta tienda tenían un pecio de 2.16 $ pero lo que más me gusta además del material, silicón resistente, es su diseño totalmente kawaii, en serio, lo amé, se parece mucho a mi personalidad.
