Hello dear friends, I wanted to share with you an experience that filled me this past Saturday, I had just come from doing a dance presentation in the morning and although it was fun it was not as meaningful as what I am about to share with you.
I just wanted to leave you with these photos of something that made me feel gratitude and love, I was at a friend's house who is already quite old (a lady of 60 years old). The significant thing about this is the time I shared with her while cleaning her yard and pulling weeds, the funny thing was that I did it while I was dressed to go to a party, I had no time to change clothes, as soon as the presentation was over I almost flew to her house (I promised to help her and no matter what, I would be there).
Selfless service is one of the things that nourish the soul and ennoble the heart. I felt fulfilled and useful to bless someone else's life.
Hola queridos amigos, quería compartir con ustedes una experiencia que me llenó este sábado pasado, venía de hacer una presentación de baile en la mañana y aunque fue divertido no fue tan significativo como lo que estoy a punto de compartir con ustedes.
Solo quería dejarles estas fotos de algo que me hizo sentir gratitud y amor, estaba en casa de una amiga ya bastante mayor (una señora de 60 años). Lo significativo de esto es el tiempo que compartí con ella mientras limpiaba su patio y sacaba la maleza, lo curioso fue que lo hice mientras me vestía para ir a una fiesta, no tuve tiempo de cambiarme de ropa, apenas terminó la presentación casi volé a su casa (le prometí ayudarla y que pasara lo que pasara, ahí estaría).
El servicio desinteresado es una de las cosas que alimentan el alma y ennoblecen el corazón. Me sentí realizada y útil al bendecir la vida de otra persona.
