Hello friends, happy day! I hope you are feeling great and that you had an amazing weekend. As for me, it's been a long weekend since Monday in Colombia is a holiday, however, it's not like I have many plans haha. I tell you that yesterday after some time I had the opportunity to go to the movies to see a new movie that came out called "The Substance".
The truth is that something I love about the movies is the smell of crispetas, I am a true believer that cinema is not cinema without crispetas and something I love to order are the combined crispetas, I usually order sweet and salty, on the other hand, I had the opportunity to try an "icee” which I wanted to try for a long time but I must admit that I did not like the taste haha, it was quite sweet and in the end it tasted like syrup. However, it was an incredible experience, I hadn't been to the movies for a long time, the movie was quite interesting although it had some strong scenes.
Now, without spoilers, I can tell you that the movie grabbed me from the beginning, although it has a central theme which is about youth, beauty and obsession with appearance, I couldn't help but feel body horror due to the sounds and disgusting scenes and a bit full of gore. Although I admit that I was not "traumatized" as I have read in some reviews out there, I can say that it was a bit strong.
In the end we left about two hours after the movie, and we thought of going to a night picnic at the viewpoint of the city which was a nice plan and above all, different. Without further ado, I hope you also had a fun day friends, a hug ❤️

Hola amigos, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren súper bien y que hayan tenido un fin de semana increíble. Por mi parte, ha sido un fin de semana bastante largo ya que el lunes en Colombia es festivo, sin embargo, no es que tenga muchos planes jaja. Les cuento que el día de ayer después de algún tiempo tuve la oportunidad de ir a cine a ver una nueva película que salió llamada “la sustancia”.
La verdad es que algo que amo del cine es el olor a crispetas, soy fiel creyente de que cine no es cine sin crispetas y algo que me encanta pedir son las crispetas combinadas, suelo pedir dulces y saladas, por otra parte, tuve la oportunidad de probar un “icee” el cual quería probar desde hace mucho pero debo admitir que no me gustó su sabor jaja, era bastante dulce y al final me sabía a jarabe. Sin embargo, fue una experiencia increíble, tenía tiempo que no iba a cine, la película me pareció bastante interesante aunque tenía algunas escenas fuertes.
Ahora bien, sin hacerles spoiler de la película puedo decirles que me atrapó desde el inicio, aunque cuenta con un tema central el cual se trata de juventud, belleza y obsesión por la apariencia no podía dejar de sentir horror corporal debido a los sonidos y escenas asquerosas y un poco llenas de gore. Aunque admito que no quede “traumatizada” como he leído en algunas reseñas por ahí, sin embargo si puedo decir que estuvo algo fuerte.
Al final salimos unas dos horas después del cine, y se nos ocurrió ir a un pícnic nocturno en el mirador de la ciudad el cual fue un lindo plan y sobre todo, diferente. Sin más, espero que ustedes también hayan pasado un divertido día amigos, un abrazo ❤️
