Day 2447 | Oostende Film Fest Trip Day 1

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, entertainment, and my personal life...


On Monday and Tueday, I had a 2-Day trip planned along with a friend to the film festival of Oostende. So I had to get up quite early and also made it a 2-Day digital detox not bringing along my Laptop. The idea was the go see 5 movies and total and have a long walk on the beach. All while trying to keep my healthy eating streak somewhat alive.

So Monday I woke up quite early and we took the train with en eye to check into our hotel around noon with the fist movie starting at 14:15. Before that first movie after checking in, we did a walk already along the coastline and went for a drink. The first movie was a dutch one (De Terugreis) which turned out to be pretty ok. After that we rushed to another location for the 2nd movie which was a Chinese one (The Black Dog) which for me was quite the dissapointment. it started around 17:00 and we were done and on our way to eat something in a Spaghetti place. With plentyof time left we also went to a bar to play a short hour of Pool which was fun and walked back quite a while to the Movie Theater to watch a 22:45 showing of the Korean Movie "Winter in Sokcho" which I did enjoy watching a lot. After that was over we headed to our hotel doing some more steps and got to sleep.

All of this added up to 17295 steps and the cost of the 2-Day trip in total added uo to 184.15€


Food Diary I very much managed to keep my eating clean with 2 bananas in the morning, a Ginger Tea instead of eating something in the afternoon. A vegetarian Spaghetti with a creamy mushroom Thyme tomato sauce taking just a regular porting instead of a larger (which at the time I regretted by now like) this with a Water instead of a cola.
