Hola nuevamente mi gente de HIVE, ya va cerca de un mes que no publicaba y estaba desde la periferia en este nuestro espacio en común.
La semana pasada inició para muchos la semana santa, los más institucionales se dedican a practicar todos los rituales católicos y a conmemorar la vida, muerte y resurrección de Jesus de Nazareth.
Otros sin embargo están tomando estos días para disfrutar o relajarse.
En mi caso (que volví a la universidad a terminar unos asuntos pendientes) fue de descanso moderado para ir estudiando para lo que me toca la semana que viene.
Hello again my people of HIVE, it has been about a month since I last published and I was on the periphery of this our common space.
Last week began for many the holy week, the most institutional ones are dedicated to practice all the catholic rituals and to commemorate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.
Others however are taking these days to enjoy or relax.
In my case (I went back to the university to finish some unfinished business) it was a moderate rest to study for what I have to do next week.
Justamente ese viernes que inició toda esta semana santa, estoy saliendo de la UCV de verme con otro de los directores y miembros del grupo de poesía al que pertenezco @poetasdelbosque y me topé en el camino con un librero que estaba vendiendo ejemplares en 100 VES más o menos unos 1.5$ al cambio. Ese libro era el de Tutankhamon que me leí rápidamente ya que son temas que me apasionan como toda la historia de Egipto en general.
Así que luego me dirijo a casa sumamente feliz por haber conseguido semejante joya literaria en ese librero ambulante, me sentía justamente en los libros de arqueología que tanto me gustan y que le estaba comprando un tesoro a un saqueador de tumbas.
Pasó el fin de semana y ya terminando el libro también me dije tenía que buscarme cosas que hacer para conectar conmigo mismo estos días, así que decidí darme un chance para una actividad que me satisface mucho: la lectura. Organicé lo que iba a leer luego de Tutankamon y tenía ya 2 libros en cola; uno de Alejandro Magno y otro una novela histórica sobre los templarios en España.
Sin embargo eso no fue lo único, también disfruté una rica pizza de pepperoni uno de los días, otro con unas deliciosas bombas rellenas de arequipe y también un día de hotdogs.

The weekend passed and after finishing the book I also told myself I had to find things to do to connect with myself these days, so I decided to give myself a chance for an activity that satisfies me a lot: reading. I organized what I was going to read after Tutankhamen and I already had 2 books in my queue; one about Alexander the Great and another one a historical novel about the Templars in Spain.
However that was not the only thing, I also enjoyed a delicious pepperoni pizza one of the days, another one with some delicious arequipe stuffed bombs and also a day of hotdogs.Just that Friday that started all this holy week, I am leaving the UCV to meet with another of the directors and members of the poetry group to which I belong @poetasdelbosque and I ran into a bookseller on the way who was selling copies in 100 VES about 1.5$ at the exchange rate. That book was the Tutankhamun book which I quickly read as these are topics I am passionate about like all Egyptian history in general.
Las películas no faltaron estos días, una que me encantó volver a ver y que tenía mucho que no veía era Narnia, pero también pude ver la de Robinson Crusoe inspirada en la novela de Daniel Dafoe, novela que por cierto entra en mis libros preferidos.
Así va transcurriendo está semana santa 2025 no fue lo planeado pero es lo que salió, pero me gusta cómo va avanzando.
Los días de descanso son buenos para la meditación y el crecimiento interno ☺️
The movies were not lacking these days, one that I loved to see again and that I had not seen for a long time was Narnia, but I also saw Robinson Crusoe inspired by the novel by Daniel Dafoe, a novel that by the way is one of my favorite books.
