Oficialmente Iniciamos el Servicio Comunitario | Realizando Distintivos

Holaaa, feliz inicio de fin de semana a todos los que me leen. Espero estén disfrutando. Hoy paso por aquí para contarles como nos fue a mis compañeros y a mí en nuestro primer día de servicio comunitario.

Como les comenté en un post anterior, ya habíamos realizado una primera visita con el objetivo de conocer la institución, a las profesoras y a los niños de sexto grado. Pero como tal nuestra primera actividad fue esta semana, con nuestros uniformes ya listos.

Y aunque ya habíamos conocido a un grupo de niños, resulta que nosotros por ser de otro grupo trabajaríamos con otra sección de sexto grado. Así que lo que hicimos ese día fue una charla introductoria sobre el diseño gráfico y por supuesto presentarnos todos, tanto nosotros como los niños y la profesora.

Luego de haber dado la charla sobre los fundamentos más básicos de diseño gráfico, juntamos a los niños en grupos de 3 para que dos de nosotros los ayudarán con la actividad de realizar unos pequeños distintivos con sus nombre.

La actividad fue realmente satisfactoria, los niños fueron muy disciplinados, calmados y con muchas ganas de aprender, ademas mi compañera y yo tuvimos la suerte de que nos tocó un grupo de niños con mucha creatividad y ganas de aprender.

Luego hicimos algunas dinámicas divertidas ajenas al diseño para darle un premio a cada uno por su colaboración y disposición. Estoy muy emocionado de seguir transmitiendo nuestros conocimientos a los niños y espero que sigan las demás clases portándose así de bien jajajaja, aunque la profesora nos dijo que solo era porque fue el primer día y estaban medio tímidos.

Officially Initiating Community Service | Performing Distinctives

hellooo, happy start of the weekend to all who read me. I hope you are enjoying yourselves. Today I am stopping by to tell you how my classmates and I did on our first day of community service.

As I told you in a previous post, we had already made a first visit with the objective of getting to know the institution, the teachers and the sixth graders. But as such our first activity was this week, with our uniforms already ready.

And although we had already met a group of children, it turned out that we, being from another group, would be working with another sixth grade section. So what we did that day was an introductory talk about graphic design and of course we all introduced ourselves, the children and the teacher.

After giving the talk about the basics of graphic design, we gathered the children in groups of 3 so that two of us could help them with the activity of making small badges with their names on them.

The activity was really satisfactory, the children were very disciplined, calm and eager to learn, plus my partner and I were lucky that we got a group of children with a lot of creativity and desire to learn.

Then we did some fun dynamics outside of design to give a prize to each one for their collaboration and willingness. I am very excited to continue transmitting our knowledge to the children and I hope that the rest of the classes will continue behaving this well hahaha, although the teacher told us that it was only because it was the first day and they were a little shy.
