Hello Hivers!...

I haven’t posted in a while, and that’s because I’ve been a bit inconsistent with this, but I have a "master plan" in the works, hahaha.
But part of that plan also involves having some fun. A few days ago, or rather, a few months ago, I wanted to go to the Museum of Illusions. It’s located in the center of Madrid, a small space that, at first glance, tends to go unnoticed but stands out with an intense yellow facade.

It all started one day when I was walking around, as usual, looking at signs to orient myself, figuring out what things meant and what they were selling. The yellow of this particular sign caught my attention. When I got closer, they invited me in, and I grabbed the brochure to see what it was about. While reading it, I discovered that it was a museum with various attractions and activities to enjoy; I liked the idea.
The entrance price varies based on a few factors, such as being unemployed or a minor. Obviously, I had to pay the general price, which was 15 euros per person. At that exact moment, I didn’t have the time, and even less the money, to spend on it. But I did leave feeling quite curious about what was inside.

Today, the day finally came. I managed to go to the museum, which has lots of fun activities that make your mind explode, trying to understand why illusions are part of our daily lives. The combination of mirrors, lights, and distances gives things a whole new perspective. One of my favorites was a room where, if you stood on one side, you appeared small, and on the other side, you appeared huge. This illusion is called "THE AMES ROOM."

Another one was a room where you were inclined, and when you looked into the mirror and started walking, you felt like you were walking sideways. The explanation for this is that the ear is responsible for balance, and when you feel like you’re walking, it looks for its position. It’s INCREDIBLE!

There are so many activities to enjoy with family, so I’ll leave some photos for you to see, and if you can, go to a Museum of Illusions you definitely shouldn’t miss it. It’s a really, really great experience!
