El pasado 13 de febrero me acerqué a la tienda Mundo Total en el centro comercial que está cerca de mi casa porque necesitaba comprar unos zapatos y completar el regalo de mi amigo secreto para la cena con mis primas.
Gracias a Dios no habían muchas personas porque la verdad estaba bastante cansada.
Lo primero que hice al entrar fue caminar hasta el área de los zapatos para ver que opciones de sandalias tenían, sinceramente muchas personas tiene opiniones sobre el calzado de Mundo total, pero a mi en lo personal, me han salido bastante buenos.

Last February 13th I went to Mundo Total store in the mall near my house because I needed to buy some shoes and complete my secret friend's gift for the dinner with my cousins.
Thank God there were not many people because I was really tired.
The first thing I did when I entered was to walk to the shoe area to see what sandal options they had, honestly many people have opinions about Mundo Total shoes, but personally, I have found them to be pretty good.
Los ojos se me iban solitos como dice mi mamá, habían demasiados modelos bonitos y en colores muy hermosos. Me daban ganas de llevármelos todos pero, no podía, venía exclusivamente por uno que me combinara con el vestido rojo que me iba a poner para esa cena, así que debía ser: Rosa, blanco o dorado/plateado.
De igual forma limitándome a estos colores las opciones seguían siendo muy amplias. Eso si, tenía que conseguir de mi talla y ahí era lo complicado, no habían muchas opciones para mi ya que tengo el pie ancho y grande.
Este siempre ha sido un gran problema para mi.
Comencé midiéndome dos pares rosados que me parecieron muy bonitos.
As my mom says, my eyes were going to run away by themselves, there were too many beautiful models and in very beautiful colors. I wanted to take them all, but I couldn't, I came exclusively for one that would match the red dress I was going to wear for that dinner, so it had to be: Pink, white or gold/silver.
I had to limit myself to these colors and the options were still very wide. I had to get my size and that was the tricky part, there were not many options for me since I have a wide and big foot.
This has always been a big problem for me.
I started by sizing two pink pairs that I thought were very nice.
Me gustaron pero sentía que me quedaban muy ajustadas (luego me di cuenta que tenía los pies hinchados) así que me probé otros pero también me quedaban ajustados.
Ambos modelos me gustaron mucho, pero el segundo era mi favorito, sentí que se veían mucho más delicados.
Seguí mirando opciones para escoger tranquilamente el mejor modelo y con el que me sintiera más cómoda.
Mientras tanto, también le pedía a mis primas y mi mamá sus opiniones sobre los zapatos.
I liked them but I felt they were too tight on me (then I realized I had swollen feet) so I tried on others but they were also tight on me.
I really liked both models, but the second one was my favorite, I felt they looked much more delicate.
I kept looking at options to quietly choose the best model and the one I felt most comfortable in.
In the meantime, I also asked my cousins and my mom for their opinions about the shoes.

Encontré unos blancos muy lindos y otros color rosa oscuro, pero cuando me los medí unos me quedaban muy grandes y otros muy pequeños y esto no se veía nada bien, no habían de mi talla.
Así que volví a los primeros pares y me decidí por los que tenían un detalle plateado de brillos porque como les dije me parecieron los más delicados.
Caminé un poco por la tienda para ver los precios de las tazas de café, las mesas y sillas que ellos venden.
Habían cosas muy lindas pero me parecieron muy subidas de precio.
I found some very nice white ones and some dark pink ones, but when I measured them some were too big and others too small and this didn't look good at all, they didn't fit me.
So I went back to the first pair and decided on the ones with a silver glitter detail because as I told you they seemed the most delicate.
I walked around the store a bit to see the prices of the coffee cups, tables and chairs they sell.
There were some very nice things but they seemed very expensive.

Después de una caminata, decidí probar unas ''tostadas'' que estaban en la parte de los dulces porque me recordaron a unas que comía en mi infancia y nos encantaban se llamaban ''Twistos'' eran riquisimos.
Llegué a caja y pagué mis cosas.
Decidí probar inmediatamente mis tostadas pero para mi sorpresa, sabían horrible.
Fue una decepción total esta compra porque la nostalgia que sentí al verlas se esfumó con su sabor, cuando llegué a casa las condimenté con otras cosas para darles un mejor sabor y pude arreglarlas un poco.
Y esta fue mi visita a Mundo Total en busca de zapatos. Gracias por leer, ¡Hasta la próxima!
After a walk, I decided to try some ''tostadas'' that were in the candy section because they reminded me of some I used to eat in my childhood and we loved them, they were called ''Twistos'' and they were delicious.
I got to the cashier and paid for my things.
I decided to immediately try my tostadas but to my surprise, they tasted horrible.
It was a total disappointment this purchase because the nostalgia I felt when I saw them vanished with their taste, when I got home I seasoned them with other things to give them a better taste and I was able to fix them a little bit.

En realidad que para poder comprar hoy en día debemos caminar para conseguir buenos precios. Tener una zapatería acerca de casa es una tentación, a mí me quedan súper lejos, debo bajar al centro y me tomo unos 40 minutos en bus.
