I love to travel and every time I have the opportunity I take a trip to any destination to continue getting to know corners of my country. On this occasion, I took a few days this month to take a family vacation, before I told you about all the details of our first day in the town of Chichiriviche.
But the most exciting day was on our trip to the island 🏝️ the truth is that although I have had the opportunity to go several times, this time was special because in addition to going with my big family was my uncle who came to visit the country and was eager to go to the Caribbean beaches.
Early that day we hired a boat driver, we left our car at the dock and my other uncle left his car at the dock. In total for the trip we went 10 people, my other uncle went in his car and we in ours. In the boat the fun began 🤣 we had to sail about 25 minutes to get to Cayo sombrero and the sea was a little choppy so we were like on a roller coaster.
When we arrived we settled in a space to enjoy a day in the caribbean, the crystal blue water in that place is beautiful, it is one of the reasons why I always come back to this same place.
Overall we had an amazing time, we took the opportunity to do some snorkeling, take some seashells as souvenirs and of course to have a good time together. The craziest thing that happened to us was the return, I felt like I could die 🤣 the sea was very rough (more than in the morning) at one point the boatman turned off the engine and we were for a moment shipwrecked hahaha luckily we followed our turbulent path and arrived safely.
Despite that, I love all my days at sea 🥰 so I will be back soon.
Amo viajar y cada que tengo la oportunidad me doy un viaje a cualquier destino para seguir conociendo rincones de mi país. En esta ocasión, me tomé unos días de este mes para darme unas vacaciones en familia, antes les comenté sobre todos los detalles de nuestro primer día en el pueblo de Chichiriviche.
Pero el día más emocionante fue en nuestro viaje a la isla 🏝️ la verdad es que aunque he tenido la oportunidad de ir varias veces, este vez fue especial porque además de ir con mi familia grande estaba mi tío que vino de visita al país y estaba con muchas ganas de ir a las playas del caribe.
Ese día temprano contratamos a un lanchero, dejamos nuestro carro en el muelle y mi otro tío el de él. En total para el viaje nos fuimos 10 personas, mi otro tío iba en su carro y nosotros en el nuestro. En la lancha comenzó la diversión 🤣 teníamos que navegar unos 25 minutos para llegar a Cayo sombrero y el mar estaba un poco picado así que estábamos como en una montaña rusa.
Al llegar nos instalamos en un espacio para disfrutar un día en el caribe, el azul cristalino del agua en ese lugar es precioso, es una de las razones por las que siempre regreso a este mismo lugar.
En general lo pasamos increíble, aprovechamos para hacer un poco de snorkel, tomar algunas conchas marinas como suvenir y por supuesto para un buen rato juntos. Lo más loco que nos pasó fue el retorno, sentí que podía morir 🤣 el mar estaba muy agitado (más que en la mañana) en un momento el lanchero apagó el motor y quedamos por un instante naufragado jajaja por suerte seguimos nuestro camino turbulento y llegamos a salvo.
A pesar de eso, amo todos mis días en el mar 🥰 así que pronto estaré de regreso.

¡Qué aventura tan increíble! Se nota lo mucho que disfrutas viajar y descubrir nuevos rincones de tu país.
