Una de esas bellezas es el majestuoso cerro Ávila (El Waraira Repano). Su clima y su vegetación son extraordinarios, los cuales he admirado de cerca. Es impresionante que su extensión territorial abarque desde San Bernardino hasta el municipio Zamora (Miranda).

Desde su parte más alta ofrece una espléndida vista a la sultana del valle, mi querida y amada Caracas. En esa parte alta del cerro Ávila está el majestuoso Hotel Humboldt. Es todo un espectáculo visual.

Quién lo diría que yo volvería a vivir la experiencia de subir el Ávila en teleférico y disfrutar de la vista hermosa de Caracas, que regresaría al Humboldt -el cual tenía muchos años cerrado-. Fue una excelente experiencia, que viví al máximo. Hoy viene a mi memoria con la misma emoción, por algo dicen que recordar es vivir.

Ese día el universo conspiró a nuestro favor, había bastante neblina y daba la impresión de que iba a llover. De un momento a otro se despejó todo, ofreciendo una mirada encantadora a los visitantes. Pude notar parte de la Guaira, las casas de Galipan y la bella Caracas.
Si tienes oportunidad de ir a Caracas, no te pierdas la fabulosa experiencia de visitar el Cerro El Ávila y te digo con mucho respeto, Venezuela es la porción de tierra consentida y querida por Dios.
