Hello lifestyle friends, it's a pleasure to greet you and share my experiences on my holidays in Falcón state.
When we mention a state with coastal attractions, usually comes to mind: sunscreen, hats, caps, swimming costumes, drinks and tasty seafood, the main thing when it comes to the beach, but in each region we always find the creativity of a local or foreigner that gives a unique touch to our trip.
Once we had enjoyed the beach and its keys, we visited the centre of Chichiriviche and its handicraft market, to buy souvenirs not only for ourselves but also for our loved ones, it is a custom in our country to bring a detail.
Among the handicrafts we found, some caught my attention for their great creativity. Ingenuity has no limits. An artisan made several figures with shells, clams or oysters, but the one I loved the most was the owl that I show you here. Unfortunately due to its delicacy I could not bring it with me but next time I will go prepared as it is an excellent ornament that is always associated with wisdom which reminds us that every day we learn something new and that day I learnt a lot from his work and creativity.
It takes creativity and patience to put together such natural, mystical and therefore special shapes at a cost of 5 dollars per figure.
However, my attention was drawn to a natural snail, which is normally used in houses to lock the doors during the day, according to the myths it repels bad things, as the sea brings its mysteries and its accessories provide a magical touch to our walk.
We bought some key rings and fridge magnets. There was not much variety because unfortunately an artisan had passed away and many of the traders and artisans were organising the funeral, so there were not many stalls, but you could still enjoy the place.
Visit Falcón and its nooks and crannies, I used the deepl translator as my language is Spanish.
