RE: This is what a 'Wet Market' looks like in Bangladesh.

No, we don't. Health and safety is taken extremely seriously here.

Such a market would be closed for good in 10 minutes in Europe and the sellers would go to jail for endangering people's lives.

I'm wondering where the authorities are in your country and why is such an unhealthy place exists.

Sort:

In the Indian region and many South Asian countries, this is what wet markets usually look like.
I know it looks very weird to people from other parts of the world, and it is not a pleasant thing to look at. And I have to agree that health and safety is compromised here. The authorities also don't care, and things are going this way year after year.
I'm sorry for your eyesore!

This is really sad and it's not about my eyesore, but about people's health.

I hope something is going to change in the upcoming future as this is not acceptable. Fingers crossed.

We are at the top of the list of "unlivable countries" so not only this; many of our lifestyle will make people wonder. That's why I sometimes say, we are in a coop, trying to make a living and survive.
Life is full of chaos here, finger crossed for our future generations.

Have a good day 🌼🌿🌸
